Everyone always goes after mc cause he killed someone and mc continues killing mc could've avoided alot of situations if he just didnt kill so much and sometimes like in the sichuan gathering he couldve not killed and he couldve saved and prevented the following fight but nope and this isnt really addressed in the story in any way so im dropping it had an initially decent story and fantastic art at times but the occasionally good art cant make up for the bad writing and pacing

too fast

the MC became too powerful too fast. it had some really cool scenes but now it's starting to get repetitive and boring. like, you can't just throw in the next insane final boss level threat immediately after defeating the previous insane final boss level threat.

were not even 100 chapters in but the MC has defeated like 3-4 endgame level characters. that's too much.

give your characters time to breathe. work on the relationships and alliances. delve deeper into the world building. don't just throw in another enemy that threatens eveyone and everything. it will get boring regardless if the art is fantastic.

don't follow in the footsteps of countless manhua slop. this story has so much potential. don't ruin it just for cool points. the MC is already strong, we knew that a long time ago. make him deeper as a character, not stronger because he already is strong as balls.

Imagine a clan at its weakest point. The sensible approach would be to focus on raising the remaining children, nurturing them to secure a brighter future for the clan. But no! Instead, the adults—who act with the mindset of children—decide to divide them into seven groups and pit the strongest from each group against one another in a fight to the death, leaving only one survivor to claim the position of clan leader. How utterly absurd is that?

Classic op Mc murim manwa, nothing new. This is actually more ridiculous than most since Mc reaches actual top tier very early on. The art is fine, action is fine. There is a pretty bad development though that ruins the Mc (for me):

Mc lets the small daughter of one of the main villains be burned alive by one of the enemies and lets it happen even though he could have easily saved her, for the rest of the fight the villain accuses him which Mc admits in the end.

After this point Mc became irredeemable for me and i actively rooted for the villains to win, but it'll never happen since it's an op mc murim story.

I understand merciless murim etc but

letting an innocent kid burn alive because "it doesn't concern you"

Is too much even for me. 2/10

I had to let this series marinate before I could give a proper review. Basically, if you are looking for a no-nonsense, overpowered, brutal protagonist look no further. When he starts fighting usually it becomes a MASSACRE afterwards. I really like how this highlights how poison can be very scary. We all know that no matter how strong a character is....they all fall to being poisoned. He is a great example of its usage.

how can in 2 chapters I have read I can find a lot of plot holes, I even get a glimpse at chapter 16-17 and I confirm that it's garbage, for me at least
