Jounetsu Kakumei was my favourite one-shot, after that I found the others were less and less entertaining.
Now, be warned people, this collection of short stories was really explicit and uncensored, I never thought it was gonna be like that, but hey too late, I already read it!!!
Concerning the reversible couple, are you kidding me ?? Who's switching with who in here!!! There was not such thing in none of the stories, too bad for me!!!
Jounetsu Kakumei: I don't know how many times I stumble across the summary, but I was so sure it would be something awful, now looking at the categories and seeing there was nothing like S&M or such, I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I finally did.
Goutoukuji was one funny fellow, I couldn't stop laughing at the sight of his actions, the way he was trying so hard to restrain from truly being himself and had to act as the "perfect guy", when inside he was always boiling!!! I love how the mangaka draw his inner self or at least what he was really feeling inside while trying to contain himself, I don't know how to describe it, but it would have been so amazing to see it in anime, it was really well portrayed. I liked the differences between the serious, cool, calm and collected Goutoukuji and the "ready to explode at any time, but nevertheless I must control myself no matter what if I don't want to be discovered, because I don't want to disappoint my love"
Now his lover Kitami looks nothing like the one in the cover, what a waste!!! In the beginning of the story he is a little effeminate, but at the end he becomes truly feminine, and so that was a little turn off I must say, what a pity!
I was sad this one-shot was so short, I did really savour it until the end though, and our couple even came back for an omake at the end of chapter 5 after the last story, and this for my biggest pleasure!
Rainbow Color: This one started fine with the cheerful smiley guy and his poker-faced friend, so the interaction between these two was really interesting. Regrettably, it has to have **THE SCENE ** that ruined it for me,
bespectacled stoic guy is mad cause joyful guy was too excited at the concert and totally forgot about him, so when joyful guy arrived home and thought stoic one was sleeping, the latter grabs the other and forces him sexually in a rough way, blaming him for not only caring for him and no one else, and bla bla..., so while HE's still doing it because I can't possibly say "THEY", the other acknowledges that he was wrong, and it's supposed to be OK, bref!!! Don't even bother
I was so pissed off, that it was hard to finish it, especially knowing that was near the end of the story. So this was the first annoying thing that bother me, which is inevitable when it comes to a collection of one-shots, so in the end I didn't like it.
Song Of Beginning: The summary said it all, I was nearly yawning while trying to finish this.
After School : Probably the worst, no wait it was clearly the worst of the collection. It is about a pupil whose marks are pretty bad, and so his mom decide that he should go to tutoring school. There he meet an awful teacher who also seem to be the principal, the guy always has a cigarette stuck in the corner of his mouth, even during classes!!!
While the pupil try to study in the staff room, he's alone with perverted sensei, the latter has beer in one hand, cigarette in his mouth and he's watching a porno movie. The student point out that he's not cut to be a sensei more or less, and of course the sensei rapes him. While violating him, he's asking the student why he doesn't respond to his advances by moaning or something, because it's clear that he's really feeling it. Bref, the pupil after being assaulted swear it won't end like that, yeah right, we do believe you!!! But the student attitude is absolutely, well he's worse than a bad heroine of shoujo manga, he behaves like if flowers were blooming from everywhere, blushing for nothing, and acting coy. He's become totally enthralled with the teacher, and actually wishes that the latter will do something sexually to him
So gross, and so wrong in so many freaking ways!! Oh yes, this one had me really disgusted, and so it was the second bad point of this collection.
Well, when you have short stories, you can have the best as the contrary, you never know, since the worst is not necessary what you thought it would be!!!
