A little awkward, a little bashful, but ultimately quite sincere and sweet. You can say that about both the characters and the story in this oneshot. It'd be nice if I could read about what happened afterwards in the novel, but this much is fine too, as the hopeful ambience is a nice note to end it on.

so cute. the ending is the best, the start of a new relationship! i mean, it is only a first step, but i can feel my heart bubbles with their hesitancy. i really like the kind of story that work real slowly like this, like real relationship. great job.

This is such a sweet story. The angst was worth it. And for those of us who want more, in her novel "Cold Sleep", KONOHARA Narise has also written a little about what happens afterwards. The two are in the chapters, "Class Reunion" and "The One I Love". The actiony bits are mostly left to the imagination, but one of the reasons I gave this one a '10' is that the scenes (both written and drawn) are so evocative. I'm fond of KONOHARA Narise, and ASOU Mitsuaki's art is so beautiful.

I loved this!! So sweet! As @blueshadows said, the whole time while reading this, there's tension, but I don't consider this to be negative. The characters struggle with their feelings and that's moving to watch!
I'm not very fond of the art either, but it's possible to ignore it due to the beautiful message that it's never too late to go after someone you love, even if you've last seen them long ago.

The whole time i was reading this, there was this really high tension, and the scenes felt as if it was awkward to talk and everything. the drawings are a bit cruder/messy/detailed (take your pick) than what i am used to, so reading this kind of bored me. If something says it's yaoi, i can guarantee that it's only shounen ai. there was barely a kiss scene, so how can it be yaoi?

Almost a movie-like use of images, with blowups and a sequence of panels that speak without words.
Not a oneshot you can skip through because you'll enjoy studying each panel in depth.
I loved the ending, with takigawa's face saying it all but I'm a romantic at heart and i would love a second chapter... maybe with some "action"
