Description

Definitely a hot manga, but rather heartbreaking. I hate that the entire premise of the story is to break them up. I was practically in tears seeing Kaede beg Sakisaga to not take Yuki away from him.

I typically really like plots like these but not this one. The basic pretense is that the two semes had a room where, they could see the two ukes doing it when they were middle school students. Boys navigate into high school division and the semes decide they want those two for their own. Which can work pretty well with good characters and as long as you can sense the love in the new couples.

That's the problem though, there was no love between the new couples. It was lust and a little curiosity. The only love you saw was between the two ukes but the upperclassmen more or less destroyed that. They showed them some new techniques, more mature bodies and the ukes are thinking more about them rather than each other. And, probably desperate to make the semes look good, the mangaka introduced two rivals who also have eyes on the ukes. They do all these tricks and the semes have to protect their lambs in the last two volumes. Yet, by doing that she/he only illuminates how flat and boring the semes are by better developing the rivals.

If you are not convinced by this or any of the other reviews, I say try the first volume. If you can read through those chapters without a problem or complaints and genuinely say the story interested you, continue but if you can't you're just wasting your time. It won't get any better.

Smut is Smut

Okay, this is something I really have to get off my chest, because frankly, I enjoy Minami Haruka's work, it's what my pals (who also enjoy her work) call a dirty little secret, and while that doesn't exactly speak well of us or the manga, you get my drift. Frankly, she's one of the only artists whose style appeals to me, I'd rank her as top 5% in my book, and I'm extremely particular about style since I used to be an Art student, but it's all about personal preference, so if it's not your cup of tea, I completely understand. Style is style. Just as Smut is Smut.

What I really don't get, is how people who know full well before hand that they'd hate the manga, still choose to read it. Like would I force milk chocolate down my throat even if I know it'd taste like sweentened plastic? No I wouldn't. It's all about preferences, so when someone starts the review saying 'I've never expected anything worth reading' or anything to that effect, I'm really thinking 'Dude, you have an IQ below hundred'. Honestly, the mind boggles.

As for how I feel about the manga, really it's smut. I don't actually want to see a great murder plot or anything in smut, when I read smut, I'm usually feeling brain dead and looking for something frivolous and shallow to pass my time. None of the characters annoy me, so that's fine, and the drawing doesn't cause my eyes to bleed, so that's another brownie point. My point is, you can tell if you're going to like the manga within the first ten pages, if you like it, carry on, if ou don't, then stop. Don't insult yourself or Minami Haruka by reading further, it won't do anyone any good.

I have NEVER expected anything worth reading from this particular manga-ka... Every other manga she made has nothing but pure smut, no character depth and development and it always just keeps making me puke with the corniness... This particular piece of work is NO EXCEPTION...

It starts off with a cute couple (I admit they really were) only to have them separated by two desperate, horny voyeurs who think with their groins. They claim to be in love but for me they're just horny and want to relieve tension... That Yuki-guy, he's so easily tempted... Just because that Kazuomi-guy had a bigger penis, he actually switched partners... Where the hell is you're loyalty?! And those semes... UGH!

The only reason I even bothered reading up to the latest release was for a TINY bit of hope that there will be more depth to it and there will be some changes and a twist FOR THE BETTER, but alas, I should've known better... No wonder Storm In Heaven dropped this, cause I would've done so too, even before releasing it... This is complete garbage, and merely eye candy... Liquid Passion should drop this one too since I don't think it's even worth their precious time...

If you're the type of person who prefer flowery art ALONE without any depth to the story, well, kudos to you because you can actually appreciate this... But as for me, no thanks...

I cried reading this manga. How can someone make this. the junoirs where cute with each other for a whole 3 Years of middle school. they had sex told each other everything. . . and they were an open couple. they become high school kids and they break up WTF . . . if they loved each other so much why'd they stay friends and go with there Senpai's?! The Senpai's are so sexy but lets all be honest this is not a good story line Yuki's and Kaede's love looks unbreakable. . . Darn why do they make people who dont have good story plots published . . . i should of just read it online i Even brought all three volume a waste COMPLETELY!!!!!!!!!1

Like a lot of reviewers here already said, the story is absolutely disappointing and I just felt so irritated about how things developed and ended.

I've come to expect only PWP from this author's work (the only exception is Saihate no Kimi e), so I wasn't surprised that this was just another one of her manga packed with smut; but what really put me off was that this story's PWP comes from lots of cheating, manipulating, and shallow romances that made me feel wrong reading about it. What disturbed me even more was how the seniors sometimes seemed to be competing over their conquest like it was some sort of game.

Although I couldn't help but read this series until the very end to see what happens, I find myself really hating the ending and wishing that the juniors would end up back together. I wouldn't mind if the seniors hooked up, though XD

I was really excited to read this at first, because I was expecting to see how the little seme junior would defend his love from the two predatory sempais but no, nothing like that happened.

The love between the two juniors was adorable. It was heartbreaking to see the little one get cheated on only to have it resolved by having the other sempai go in and "smut him up."

I don't mind PWPs, but I felt completely CHEATED with the PWP in this manga because the story attempted to present itself as something with depth and emotions and just when your heart goes out for one of the characters, a sempai will come in, spread an uke's legs and wipe away any problems with his apparently huge lovetool. Like, wtf?

I actually felt angry reading this. Which surprised the heck out of me. I'm not touching another manga by this author, there's no such thing as love or deep themes or plots in her stories. Just a lot of potential that's wasted on that almost always end up being resolved by sex.

A Waste of Time

The whole premise for this series is a waste of time. The story starts out with the two juniors being deeply in love with one another, and for three volumes, two seniors start pursuing them as lovers. Deep love flies out the window and senseless smut ensues. Minami Haruka is nowhere near good enough as a mangaka to get away with this flimsy, insulting storyline. The artwork improves with each volume, but the storyline seriously declines.
Honestly, the series would've been a thousand times better if the seniors had hooked up and left the juniors to themselves in the end. Instead, it's just a huge waste of time. Well, unless you just want some girly-uke smut. Then you're all set.

I started reading this thinking it was going to be silly and adorable, but as the series went on, I realized this was not the case.

The two young boys have a clear and intense love for each other, and the senpai are basically nothing more than pedophiles taking advantage of the two based on their own fetishes.

If I want' baseless, emotionless sex, I'll go find some hentai, thanks. This manga is heartbreaking and yet this heartbreak is practically completely ignored to make more room for gratuitous sex.

The manipulation and predation here is just creepy and upsetting, not hot. But what else should we expect from this manga-ka? It's like she doesn't have a romantic bone in her body. What good is sex without love? Like I said, I'll go for hentai where the art is better and the scenes are more detailed if I just want a quick shot of smut.
