I‘ll be honest: I was on the verge of dropping this manhwa. The story was incredibly predictable, the pacing was all over the place, always switching POVs, always introducing new characters without fleshing out the existing characters. It all felt too shallow, no depth, no momentum in the storytelling. The only reason I was even reading it so long was the very pretty artwork.

…..and then came the end of chapter 24. MASSIVE plot twist. Completely subverts the storyline until that point. If you have any interest after reading the first couple of chapters - do yourself a favor and don‘t give up until you‘ve read through Ch. 24 and beyond. The pacing gets so much better and the (new) characters feel like actual people you wanna root for.

I‘ve rarely seen such a positive, big change of a manga/manhwa many chapters into the series.
