So much internal monologue! I mean this in a good way; I admire the openness and honesty of Hayeon's thought process. The communication between the characters in this story is so respectful and honest, that it's so unreal because that really doesn't happen much in reality.
It's a slow read for sure, but I appreciate how the plot is delivered in this soft way.
Love the art and the colour tones and hues of the webtoon. Love how Hayeon is not an overly extravagant character, but just a simple everyday girl that's actually realistic.
UPDATE: I wrote this comment without finishing the series, and rated it a 9. Now that I have completed it, I'm changing to a 7. The ending was weirdly abrupt and there were so many questions unanswered.
First of all, we get zero closure about Hyeonsu as a person, and we know even less about Ujun as a result.
For example: What is Hyeonsu's background like, did the issue with his parents get resolved? (If it did, then I forgot LOL)
Where did Ujun disappear to and how did he even make that pill for Hayeon? How did Ujun navigate as Hyeonsu as a person?
As for the ending itself: after the aliens all disappeared, then what? Did
the peoples' memories remain? Didn't Hyeonsu think it was weird he just woke up with no memories of what happened over several months? Did Minuk ever contact Hayeon again? What happened to the friends she made? How many years had passed for the time skip in the end?
I came up with these questions without even trying to think, so you can imagine how much more there is left unsaid in the story that makes it problematic (for me).
Although its ending wasn't ideal (again, for me), but I still really appreciated this webtoon and loved how cute it was.
