Ako is a little girl whose parents are always quarreling. One night, things seem to be at a boiling point, and Ako ponders on it in her room. Then, her beloved toy, Boku-chan, starts to walk and talk! This is the doing of the light of the blue moon - a moon that comes around only once a year....
