24 Chapters (Complete)

I really enjoyed the story. It followed a typical childhood crush plot: the top character was the bottom family's servant, they were caught kissing, and the bottom accepted his teacher's punishment to free the top. After escaping, the top character relentlessly pursued the bottom character, ultimately deciding to rape and kidnap him, and murder his family the day before the bottom character's wedding. This didn't bother me. My main issue was that it was a short story, ending at only 24 chapters, which left me feeling incredibly unsatisfied. It had so much potential for further development. Furthermore, why didn't the author explore these elements more fully? The top character killed the commissioner and remained at peace, even though he acknowledged that being an assassin was illegal. Why weren't these plot points expanded upon? Why?
