Description

After losing her parents when she was young, Rio has been supporting herself and her brother. Rio believes that it's useless to rely on others. One day, she buys a trump card of the jack of club, modeled after Sir Lancelot, believing she could gain good money auctioning it off the internet. That night she meets Sir Lancelot in her dreams, which recur every time she sleeps. When Yuuki-kun asks her to go out with him and nearly kisses her, Lancelot suddenly appears out of nowhere and says he has come to save her?!

I've always loved this mangaka's works. Her art is so flowy and beautiful, and her stories are cliche, but wonderfully executed cliches are better than plots that try too hard to be original, ne? 8D; Besides, if Lancelot's character is actually based on history... huhuhu, things are going to heat up with his past! Lancelot is so cool and cute x3 (at the same time, lol~)

Anyways. Seriously, Shimaki Ako really knows what makes a girl happy. <3 Highly recommended. ;A;

I love this manga!!! I simply adore it!!! This is one of my favourite mangakas, her art is simply superb and as cheesy and cliche as some things might seem, she can still make me squeel like mad while reading her works!

Cute romance, pretty typical shoujo manga. The art is very very pretty and I think the mangaka did a decent job of making Lancelot look foreign (the eye shape, his height/build, etc.). A lot of mangakas handle this poorly, often just making the foreigner blond and being done with it.

You won't find much more substance here apart from, as mentioned, regular shoujo fluff. Lancelot's character is earnest and honorable, which is a refreshing change of pace from most male leads in shoujo who are just cookie-cutter bad boy types who are crazy about sex.

I feel like a lot of potential was wasted here. It could have been very interesting to focus more on Lancelot's adjustment to being so far in the future, or his reaction to the notion that he is a household name across the world and is lauded as a fairytale hero. A little nod to ANY part of Lancelot's history--the round table, Guinevere, his conquests--would have been nice, but

a "past love" is mentioned once and then never again. There's also a mysterious being in the trump card who seems to makes arbitrary decisions on Lancelot's sudden existence in the world, and he changes the rules more than once. No information is given about this character--who it is, what its motivations are, where it comes from.

If you're looking for a cute, short, mostly satisfying read about a classical hero, you will probably love this. However, if you're looking for a story that at all discusses the details of Lancelot suddenly a) becoming real and b) being a couple thousand years in the future, you'll be sorely disappointed.

Overall I enjoyed it for what it was and tried not to think of all the squandered opportunities for plot development and intrigue.

just finished reading. It has the typical plot for this kind of story but I like how Lancelot is depicted. The girl isn't bad either though she is kinda average. But I could already see the ending of this from the very beginning but luckily, I'm not disappointed because it was cute! The omake was the surprising part haha.

The art is great, not too much and not too little detail so I'm gonna rate this as a 10. It's a good read and I definitely recommend it for a short yet pretty romance read. 😀

at first it gave me an irky feeling because i dont really like male leads with knight syndrome but i guess it cant be helped since he is Lancelot and theres nobody knight-ier than Lancelot!
but anyhow the female lead was not annoying.. i like her, the ideal older sister, though she doesnt escape the qualities of the typical shoujo girl..
the story wasnt dragged and it actually has a body though there arent any historical references.. its alright since im not in thinking mode right now, but if i am my rating would drop like hell! the ending didnt felt rushed.. so i guess this is pretty good! and some moments just made me want to look away and smile to myself.. sigh
and the omakes at the end! TOTAL WIN!! who says looks doesnt matter?? XD

one of the best smuts ever!!!! the plot is incredibly original and the art is spectacular i laughed,i cried, i was educated. this is really probably one of my favorite mangas period regardless of the smut categories as far as compared to other smut this one tends to kick most other smuts ass's and then curb stomp them =3=

I'm not sure if this is an error due to the scanlations or if it was an error on the mangaka's part but there were some historical facts in there that were incorrect. In the second chapter, Lancelot says he's from Britain and the main female lead's little brother said it was a European country that existed sometime in the 5th and 6th century... But I'm pretty sure, correct me if I'm wrong, that Britain is still in existence...

i love the art and the basic story plot, but i feel that the whole story was sort of rushed. I guess because it was too short thats why it seemed rushed, but the ending was especially rushed!
other than that the overall story was really sweet. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 😀

This manga can be separated into two parts. The good parts, and the bad parts.

The art of this was actually well drawn, with the character's expressions well depicted. The story seemed original enough that it made me want to read it.

However, there are a great many things bad about this manga. First off, What I want to say is that it had potential. The manga had potential to be a really good shoujo manga, perhaps even to the point where it is heart-breakingly good.The characters were very cliche, though that is not what bothered me the most. After all, what would a manga be without some cliches? No, what bothered me the most was the pacing and the plot. The plot was a bit scattered, and the pacing of the story went way too fast to even get a grip upon the emotions and feel of the manga. Also, the plot, as in the way the characters dealt with the situation, was not at all realistic. For example, what happens between Yuuki, Rio, and Lancelot felt unreal, like it had a very shaky foundation and would collapse at any minute. Lastly, the characters in the manga felt a little flat to me, with minimal character development, if any, with one character being too perfect, the other being too whiny, and the last being....just being spineless.

This manga is not among the mangas that made me squeal everytime I went to a new chapter. Perhaps, if the series were longer, with more plot and character development, and perhaps a little bit more jealous rivalry, it would be better.Yes, the manga is cute, and yes, the drawing is done really well. However, the only thing I have to say is that: just because there are incredibly hot bishies like Lancelot, who makes up 5 points of my rating, doesn't mean that it automatically deserves a 10.
