First season's been good

After finishing the 1st season, I found it to be quite good. It starts of heavy on the comedy side and I actually found it funny for a change, also, the timing for the comedy is well chosen, the author knows when to crack a joke and when to be completely serious.
Later on it looses on the comedy side and centers more in the story, which is a bit lackluster, a youth that was risen up by the previous evil overlord to take vengence for him but he's sworn not to kill, a weird combo. It also gets heavy on the action and fights, and while the art is excellent, the fights are mostly things exploding, save for some parts. And some fights, one in particular goes beyond the fantasy realm into the ridiculous one.
Last, the chars are quite interesting and there are some cameos from Yong Bi and some connections here and there. MC is kind of a stoic good guy that doesn't say much, and many enemies have rich backgrounds. At the same time, some are quite annoying, like the FL.
All in all it's an entertaining mix of martial arts action and comedy.

I read it just because the MC personality and the most important " THE DUMPLING QUEEN ". If not because that I will never bother with martial genres, and this one totally bullshit.

unfortune they usually have some great female side character with strong personality which hard to find at another genres, damn it @@.

Absolutely great read. It has a slice of life feel with action incorporated; which is crazy cool and flashy. Best part about the Manhwa, it is actually funny. The story line is slow but awesome, pretty action packed (read up to chapter 35 so far since this review). Totally recommend the read!

I think that sums this up pretty well. I like this work quite a bit, but my only real concern is that I'm not really sure how powerful people are in it. I feel like in every fight the MC should be saying "you haven't even seen my final form yet!" If you're looking for an easy read with a good story and you wanna see someone beat up all the bad guys, I highly recommend this.

This is a martial arts manhwa based on a gag - an overpowered protagonist whose life goal (revenge) had been fulfilled before he could get started. The manhwa strikes an interesting balance between gags and serious stuff - some highlights so far are the brainwashed assassin (also great as a standalone story), and Yerin's past.

Also interesting: Some aspects of the art style strongly remind me of the legendary Adachi Mitsuru - like some of the comic facial expressions, or black panels that only show the characters' eyes.

At the time I'm writing this, the manhwa is only 26 chapters in, so there's no telling where the story will go - except that it will probably be exciting, and fun, and beautifully drawn.
