Haruko Sakurada (nicknamed Haruru) is in the first year of middle school. In class with her is her friend Kazeki Mamoru, who was a very popular student in elementary school and Haruko had a predilection for him, but at the entrance to middle school Haruko's attention shifts to Sakuga Shigeta, a boy with a splendid soprano voice. Mamoru, jealous, tells Shigeta that Haruko speaks ill of him and the misunderstanding damages the relationship between them. Suddenly Mamoru will have to move and only after the disappearance of the boy Haruko will he notice the feelings she has for him.
It's been 3 years and now Haruko's feelings for Mamoru are just a sweet memory. On the first day of high school, looking at the student list, Haruko reads the name "Kazeki Mamoru". Could it be the same guy?
