Description

What's a guy to do when a militant girl demands he date her little sister? Crazy right? Well, it's exactly what happens to transfer student Kakizaki Kokera. The Harimoto Sisters have a strange love-hate relationship he just can't help but get dragged into. And what's more, there's a strange town legend about a middle schooler who cleaned up the town with overwhelming violence five years ago called Urooboe Uroboros (Half-Remembered Uroboros).

A Little Disappointing But...

I found this one to be enjoyable. However, I am a bit of a sucker for Takeshi's art, which probably made up for some of the short-comings within the plot itself.

The writing itself was disappointing due to the lack of character development and overly predictable plot, most notably being:

It's pretty much obvious that there will be some sort of big multi-opponent fight scene and that Kakizaki is going to come out the victor once it is revealed that he has fighting skills of some sort.

It was an interesting and quick read. I just don't understand the concept behind one-shots. I mean are they like test runs for an idea to see if it has potential to become a full blown manga? anyways it was very cool for a oneshot.

whether its the translation or the writer's intended wish, the conversations is somewhat stifling and confusing. that detract a lot of my enjoyment from it. the plot and characters are run of the mill generic shounen, nothing interesting here except for people new to the manga scene.

While this oneshot was pretty solid in pretty much everything, the pacin was way off, and the supporting character(s?) were never developed. It really feels like an introduction chapter to a manga, instead of a stand alone story.

ah yes, i really like this one to be continued.
great action (beats the crap out of generic super fighting like naruto and bleach, dont make me explain)
interesting story
awesome art
i would have easily given this a 9+ if it wasnt short (of course its short, its one-shot).

well so far i read chapter 0 ...lol and it was quite good 50 something pages... alot of potential good artwork~~~deathnotish~~~
fighting is above average
and the characters seem quite mysterious oh and yes L!!! !! ALIVE IN THERE!

Ah, I love Takeshi's art style; the highlighting and the shading can either make a scene bright and cheerful or dark and gloomy.

I read this as soon as I saw it on OM and thought this would make a pretty awesome series (2 hot chicks, a laid back protagonist that kicks all major species of ass w/o muttering some corny lines that have no relevence to fighting skill, and a huge school school w/ endless possibilities for development), but sadly I could just feel the endless waves of fanboys going "ZOMGZ LUUKZ JUS LEIK TENJOU TENGE!!!11!"

Anyways, I enjoyed reading it. The artwork was brilliant, the storyline while somewhat predictable was enjoyable and, above all, coherent; and all the characters were pretty interesting.

Because it was a One-shot...

Hm... despite hearing good things about this, the fact that this is a one-shot may have deterred the people's interest (evident in the 20 or something votes for a 7 rating). Anyway, it was good, and it has potential. I would read it if it ever becomes a series. I recommend it to anyone who wants a bit of adventure and a lot of fighting.

It was pretty good, starting out with him being the transfer student, then meeting the two sisters. It was interesting and could've been better if it hadn't ended so suddenly. Then again, it's a oneshot. I wish it was a bit more extended though. I personally would've liked to see it continued.
