56 Chapters (ongoing)

Took a chance on this series, as I’m usually not a big fan of “look at how much of a genius this adult is in the body of a toddler” with a can do no wrong protagonist coupled with a revenge kink and inane villains.
This one successfully navigates a lot of common pitfalls of the genre, though! Most of it I’d attribute to a well-paced plot and good power dynamics.
The FL stands up for herself, with people on her side that are strong but with their flaws. The side characters are enjoyable. The villains are annoying but genuinely difficult to surmount and not (save maybe the “first” villain) just arrogant and stupid.
The “genius” solutions she comes up with are all believable enough and not too handwavey, and the situations she has to solve don’t feel contrived. Maybe most importantly, nothing drags on. Misunderstandings are resolved directly, and suspicions are acted upon.
It’s still a bit ridiculous to see her as six, and her genius isn’t really explained when she seemed like an ordinary teen. Overlooking that though, this has been a good read with comedy as well as an engaging storyline (and I’m hoping for a little romance down the line too).
