An Ashduster refers to a person who captures ash-flies, black butterflies that are believed to bring misfortune, and delivers them to the mortal gods. Yoi is one such Ashduster, and is viewed with disdain by the villagers. But despite their terrible treatment, she lives each day with positivity. Her whole world changes when a mortal god saves her from an attack by the angry villagers, who blame her for the village's misfortunes.
