The mistake of a one night stand after being struck by slope magic.
But not him... it just can't be him...
1 Volume (Complete)

The narrative jumps around and is difficult to follow. By chapter 3 it's improved with time reference panels.
However, they keep adding new characters and shifting focus away from the main couple in a way that in theory progresses the plot but mostly feels like a distraction before the plot and main characters can even take shape.
The idea and art is there, but it would take a skilled editor to shape it into something worth reading.
The pacing was all over the place and the characters were pretty flat. It felt like the author had some cool ideas but didn't really have a big picture in mind, so the plot ended up feeling a bit disconnected.
The art is so nice and fluffy in this. I like the progression of the two's relationship and the way their personalities interact. I wish there were a bit more of the titular "slope magic" though, because I kept expecting more snowboarding/skiing "heart-racing" moments.
The story really has a reflective feeling. Lots of flashbacks, outsider POV. I like it. Based on the mangaka's other work, I think they're fond of this style of storytelling. I think it works pretty well in this series.
