Description
Housen is a painter of erotic art in the Edo period, who stumbles into a murder mystery involving women who have hooked up with one of his patrons. With the help of Tsubaki, a girl he runs into on the street who seems to know more about him than he does and is an artist herself, they start unraveling mysteries involving sex, murder, and occasionally the occult.

The mc is pretty interesting, the femc is less interwting that mc imo, but still is interedting nonetheless.

The murder scenarios are interesting but after a few arc, it seems to follow a similar path in story telling that it's all about the women. ALL of them will die within the arc she was introduced.(no doubt about the tragedy tag here!)
Every time a female character is introduced, i can already expect her to die/get raped, and every time a man dies, it's tied to her. This isn't about how i pity the women, but how the suspense was killed for me.

It's a good series. Hot, erotic sex scenes, though over the top gore. If you can't handle content in HIGH doses, stay clear of this series - the sex scenes are a bit graphic, but the murder scenes are highly graphic and intense. I must say, I did enjoy this. An interesting murder mystery series.
