she found out she was a vampire...
I mean, Yuki was a really strong character through out the whole thing but her wishy washy love for both guys get ANNOYING!!! First she'll be like "I believe in Kaname!" and then she's like "I'll kill Kaname for you Zero!" Then she's like "Let's get this straight Zero, I belong to Kaname! let's look for him together!" The heck girl? There'll also be a chapter where she finds out she loves Zero, then the next she sleeping with Kaname? Like seriously girl? I mean wtf? Are you just doing forplay?! Even before that we can see that she only has eyes for Kaname but then why would she even admit that she loves Zero and kiss him and such? I HATE the yo-yo type of girls. She's obviously playing around with them in her hands and the puppets are going along with it too.
Then there's the sequence where whatever Kaname starts anything, never had a true meaning behind it. First, I'm guessing he killed the pure blood to turn her back into a human but then suddenly he decides he wasn't doing it anymore and wanted to become a parent. I mean I can see why, but all those pure-bloods' lives were just wasted away. Even Ichijou's lover, Sara. And when did he ever find out how to turn pure-bloods into vampire anyways? It was never mentioned or exaggerated until that last bit. Unless I missed something. But the whole plot is a little confusing and hard to keep up with too.
Next, we understand that Zero is obviously in love with Yuki but he say he'd kill her the next time he meets her and then suddenly they went to the ball together and he suddenly bust out his dancing moves. Which is totally out of character. I mean there's nothing wrong with getting out of character but ease us into it, just don't throw it out of no where. And plus that whole memory loss thing was VERY unnecessary. It didn't have any point to the storyline whatsoever. Still Zero is a yummy character to look at. he also never got revenged and his whole emo character just didn't have a resolution in the end.
Then I'm also curious about the ending section, where all the vampires are out to get Kaname. It's like all the vicious and hardcore vampire hunter and ice-making and fire-breathing vampire suddenly becomes so powerless. No one was using their power to fight and all Yuki was doing was running around with her spare. Then suddenly Zero just blossoms out of nowhere and the fight is over? Wahhh?!?! Confused.
I guess it's safe to say that the storyline just lost track somewhere along the way and the main climax was just that Yuki was Kaname's sister. Then towards the end, it was rushed and undeveloped.
Even so I do gotta say I LOVE the anime and the first half of the manga. I waited so long and it was disappointing but I can't really bring myself to hate it too. Anyways this is my review of it.
BTW
Why'd Zero died? Does half breeds not live forever? What happened to Aido? And something that spark my interest is, was Yuki's children also in a incest relationship? None of them had a 'partner' next to them even though they been living for a thousand years. O.o Many things felt unresolved.
