...if the art wasn't so bad, I might have liked it alright. I mean, the plot is cliche, unrealistic, etc., but what yaoi isn't?
The art, though. shakes head really, truly awful.

I really not enjoyed this manga, the art is ugly and the characters poorly designed ... The stories were not legal and sometimes without rhyme or reason. The characters were simple and without characteristics, with a plot poorly designed. The rape was treated as something normal because Reiji knew but nothing to protect Kazuki of his brother, his mother also knew but left that happen ...

This is one of those manga that make you wonder how it ever made it into book-form and got a release haha!
The art is just terrible, the faces are ugly, the anatomy is way off (tiny tiny heads and large limbs), there's awkward perspectives and the whole storytelling and paneling is simply FAIL.
There's manga that have art-styles you just hate but you can read and enjoy the manga despite that simply cause the story is touching or the characters are likable... well this manga has nothing at all going for itself.
The story is shallow and predictable yet confusing where you dunno what's going on or why, and the paneling... well... I don't think I've ever seen such unskillful, random, boring paneling.
The characters are also boring, they are hard to understand because they randomly act and from one page to the next, important story elements are completely forgotten, uh...
I wonder if the mangaka ever improved or if her skills stayed low like this...

I really find not a single good point about this manga.
If you look for sexy men, look elsewhere. If you want a story that is interesting and keeps you on the edge of your seat hooked on the manga, look elsewhere. If you like character depth and development, or just likable characters, look elsewhere!

Don't waste your time, seriously, unless you want to read this for a laugh because it's so bad, or because you have read absolutely every other manga out there...

Bunch of nut jobs, a horrible mother and lots of morons -__-

Crazy pedophilic husband rapes your son and what do you do? you send your son away and stay to support your husband D: WTFFFF??? They all knew he had problems but they still left the kid with him, that's just horrible. This manga just makes me angry. The worst thing is the horrible mother, I guess since she's 40 she's desperate to be married so she doesn't care about her son. It just pisses me off. Afterwards instead of taking care of the boy and taking him to a hospital or something, he ends up consoling the brother of the rapist e_e They all need psychological help, seriously.

It's total unrealistic. No raped boy, mother of a raped boy would or SHOULD act this way...

what a terrible plot with bad art to go along with it. the characters' emotions don't come across effectively leaving me feeling little to no sympathy for any of the characters despite a few of them having some traumatic backgrounds. the art is mediocre at best and the storyline is even worse.

yaoi can sometimes get pretty messed up, but this one is just twisted to the point of being distasteful. it's not uncommon to find rape being brushed off in yaoi, or any othe manga genre for that matter, but when someone like a mother chooses to brush off the rape of her own son, i was like wtf?! that pretty much nailed it as a failed story for me.

One of the few times I forgot to check the reviews on this site first, and I assure you it won't happen again. The first half of the manga was your average 'mother gets remarried, guess who's coming to dinner yaoi', but the second half turned into a huge wtf moment for me. spoilers, not that you should really care The mother lets a pedophile stay alone with her son, and when he attacks the boy, the kid gets sent packing instead of the husband. There are somethings that aren't kosher even in yaoiland.

This isn't very good. The artwork is wonky. And so is the story. Their "love" doesn't seem very legit or natural. The characters action and motivation doesn't make sense, and their emotions don't come across. Their actions don't reflect their words. There are huge issues and drama that happen in the manga, but it doesn't seem to affect the characters. They brush off rape and abuse like it's something that can be brushed off and dealt with in a week. Huzah!

It's your standard yaoi plot, but poorly executed.

this is so very very bad i have to restrain an impulse to use profanity. reiji knows something is very wrong with his brother akira, but does he try to protect kazuki? hell, no. instead he lies to him about his motives, a cruel lie that would hurt kazuki to the core if the mangaka managed to actually create a single believable character; he just randomly angsts a little but without much consequence. kazuki's mother also knows what's wrong with akira and yet she leaves her son alone with him -- she's got to be one of the most stupid women in yaoiland, which isn't blessed with lots of smart ones to start with. none of the characters are likeable, none of their behaviour makes much sense, and the story makes me gag. there is no hot sex to at least make this fantasy material either. the most graphic bit is the rape (i don't consider this a spoiler, but a warning). this is like bad fan fiction; how did it ever get published? i want the time back it took me to read this.

also, don't be misled by the stylish cover -- the actual art is quite bad.
