Artstyle was rather lovely, MC is drawn objectively less bishounen than the (frequently described as) beautiful love interest, but still cute in his own way, which was a neat touch. This did read somewhat too much as a bucket list of the mangaka's favorite tropes more than anything else (i.e. beast!men, yakuza, childhood friends) which is easy to tell since none of these threads really pan out to much and the overall impression is a little bland. Still, if you enjoy slice of life BLs with interesting elements, this very much fits that bill!
