Really good with one caveat~

It's really good, it has good pacing and each chapter is both lively and moves the plot forward, the only caveat is that there seems to be a bunch of context that it doesn't really explain anywhere. Basically, there's a bunch of wizard associations and it doesn't really explain their relationships or what they do. The protagonist is also really well known for some thing that happened in the past that isn't really explained. Personally, I don't think these hurt it much, but I could understand someone being a bit displeased about it.

in reality. If you got something much good compare with other people. Then this would be so hard to keep bragging about.

This main got some brain. He's calms and has jugde ability. I'm not saying other hero type or what is annoying (for ex: luffy). It just they're attractive in different way.

To blunt. Simple character is easily accepted by simple person as well.

Black Haze contains awesome moments. The central mystery around the main char is suitably epic. Trouble is, the "famous magic school" arc mentioned in the story description lasts for, what, 100+ chapters? And it feels like, if not filler, then at least a relatively unimportant diversion from this central mystery.

Put differently, this could have been an amazing 30 chapter manhwa. Instead, it's a 130+ chapter manhwa with occasional moments of brilliance, which is brought down to mediocrity due to its slooooooow pace.

The webcominc started really interesting but you can feel how childish it is after a while have read over 100 chapters and cant stand it, may give it a try after is finish maybe it will be better later.
If you like a more young oriented manga,etc you will like this.

I gave up on this because I can't tell the characters apart the way they are drawn. At first, when there were only a few characters and the plot was simple, it didn't matter, but now I have no clue what's going on. It's like if somebody made a sitcom and cast the same person in every role.

Mediocre and forced

Get tired of everyone in this manhwa doing whatever they want and how everyone seams to be ok with it, the master is an idiot who uses the most powerful magician in the world as a toy, his rival is a psychopath who should be hanged that steals the magic-stone he's supposed to protect it and destroys the auction house (killing many probably), the students cause hell of a ruckus and all they get is a lenient warning, one of the professor in the school attacks his students with killing intent in plain view, the other teacher is even worse but I won't spoil it... it goes on and on, give it a break, be consecuent.
Characters actions make no sense

Shic is a lunatic, completely deranged, he goes on killing rampages yet somehow he's employed with a prestigious magic asosiation and is free to roam, and even gets sent to a school to put kids in danger at his leisure. Blow has had several chances to kill him and just doesn't, same for Lispen, why doesn't he kill Lispen? it would be freaking easy for him yet he ignores him for no good reason Everything is so forced, so unnatural, the characters just don't feel real and the story which is surprisingly somewhat interesting is wasted when to move forward all it does is drag from one forced action and situation to another.
Also, I don't like the comedy, it seams acting aloof and like an idiot is funny for the author, all the relief chars act like that.

I have read this work until the latest released chapter. I am frankly surprised at its high rating. It is extremely slow paced. The action is okay, but nothing to brag about. Character development is extremely lacking, bordering on comedy and parody. The art is good for a colored series. I give this series a 6/10. Nothing special, but worth reading if you are bored.

you are a hero with great power,your friends are in dying(emergency) situation(somewhere else and you know the location) and then you meet an obstacle...
what you will do//
option---
a] you are going to smak him then head back to you friends to save them..
b] you are going to chit chat with him and take action later...
c] you are going to ingnore obstacle and priotize saving your friends first..
d] you going to save your ass.....just kidding
in this webtoon our hero goes for option b] everytime......
doesnt he have smart brain////
. .
.,
more importantly its super slow..
for example a simple phone call took full one chapter...
all our hero do it ...he thinks...he thinks more......he thinks most.......and end of chapter comes and action will be taken in another 5 chapters.....just dragger,,,/////////
