Average story and characters act as expected

Full of cliche, but kind of cute and fluff, still, nothing special. The characters follow all the expected paths. Character A is cute, he is in an abusive relationship (at least consent and violence is taken seriously) and meet character B, who is an artist. They fall in instant love, character B punches the abusive boyfriend. All ends up well. The story is quite plain.

I'm not terribly impressed by the story if I have to be honest, I mean it's been done to death before and it's not like the execution helped to elevate it by much. There definitely are some moments that felt a bit too cheesy and on the nose for my liking. Characters aren't too bad by pure merits, but they're also not very interesting either as main leads in a story. I think the one thing I can appreciate the most from this manga is its sincerity and focus on genuine human emotions even if it could get a little corny at times; everything else is pretty average and could use some improvement.

Worth Reading Thrice, and More

OMGAWDDD such pure love BL, my tears just won’t stop flowing. I absolutely love Minato and just want to see him happy and out of abusive relationships. There’s depth to the conversations that ake place, and the way in which the relationships between the different characters plays out is so endearing. The art is pretty endearing as well.
The last one shot was amazing in its own way.

“You didn’t give me cause to pull the trigger.” What did, and to some degree still makes me uncomfortable, is the premise where you base your death, and the will to live, on someone else’s decisions and treatment of you and that’s why initially, I was extremely upset with this one-shot. But, thinking it over, isn’t that how we go through life? We have no idea how our actions are going to affect others, and they just might end up dying by suicide unbeknown to us because we didn’t reach out. And, it’s not like the person who dies by suicide blames the random passerby in particular, but if the random passerby was to grasp the person about to die, refusing to let go, then nothing would be more wonderful.

The main story is about a pure couple that overcame a few obstacles in order to reach happiness. It's a simple but nice story. The last story is also about the pure love of 2 damaged people. The art was great and I enjoyed reading it. I'm all about happy endings and this manga had nothing but that.

I can't exactly describe this manga in words but all i can say is that I'm loving this!!!!
The emotions and feelings of each characters are very relatable.

What i like the most about this manga is the Uke.
At first I thought that he was pretty weak but when he decides to retaliate against his ex, it was pretty awesome.
" I'll cut that fucking dirty dick off!!! " ~ The uke's lines really cracks me up!!!!!!!
The Uke was very manly when truly needed...

I want more please!!!!!
This manga is a gem..

I'm a little confused by the great ratings on this one. It's not the worst thing I've ever read, but I couldn't possibly describe it as "good" either. The pace is overly rushed, the tone is melodramatic to the point of being cheesy, and the characters super flat(the main character isn't awful, but his love interest is as monotone as can be). I keep waiting for it to take a dark turn(which would not be an improvement), but I don't think it's going to.
