This was pretty good all around. Interesting story, interesting characters, great art, spicy where it needed to be spicy (though I wouldn't have argued with a bit more spice), and funny! My only problem would be that it was sometimes difficult to understand who was saying what, I would have liked the dialogue bubbles to be more clearly attributed.
Gaaahhh I love yoneda kou!!!

Love it. I love yoneda kou. She never disappoints me. Her art work is amazing and the plot is catchy, easy to follow and hawwt!! She always goes into such depth with her characters to make it catchy and makes the reading fall into there world which makes it enjoyable to read and easy to understand and this story is no exception. This is definately one of my favourite yaoi's by her.

Nice artwork, an interesting plot and with a little twist at the end.
Even though I found the storyline to be a little confusing it was still great to read and the ending is just what one might expect from such a oneshot. Everything was done very nicely the only problem I have with it is the lack of emotional range. I like stories with feelings, where the protagonists cry, yell or laugh. This one just didn´t have any of that.

My only problem with it is that it's a oneshot; I want more. Haha! Reminds me of how my 6th-grade teacher said to leave hem wanting more. The art's great, and the plot's interesting. Though, the plot's not the type where there's a goal; it's more a snapshot. Definitely a must read. Really hope this author gets off her hiatus.

complex plot that didn't confuse me, interesting characters, amazing sexual tension pretty much from the get-go, great banter, hot sex, cool denouement, and yoneda's expressive art. the only complaint i have is that this is a oneshot instead of a whole volume or series (please!), and that's not really a complaint because it might not be as great if it were extended. it's definitely one of the best BL oneshots i've ever read.
i am running out of original yoneda manga to read, *sigh*. i don't even care for katekyou hitman reborn, but i think i'll have to start liking it if i want more.

Spoiler (highlight to view)
I am here to acknowledge Yuneda Kou's mastery, because I find this one shot to be of the highest calibre! My most favorite one-shot, by far! Nothing like it. I highly recommend this to everyone.
I liked it because:
These two characters are breathtakingly gorgeous. Amazing art!! I think gorgeous art only breathes more life into the characters and makes them that much appealing and sexy. You can't help but want to fantasize about them. But then what you also need is good characterization. And I think You was magnificent in that department. Even though this was a one-shot, she made the characters distinct & gave them specific traits.
We actually learn a lot about them over the 54 pages. It shows the mangaka's brilliance that not only did she develop a plot in those 54 pages, but left us with two amazing characters that stay with us even after we are done reading the story.
This cop was the best uke ever. Hats off to Yonedo Kou for creating this character!!!
I cannot say anything more to praise her work. I just think this one shot is brilliant. I thoroughly enjoyed the chemistry between the two (makes you want more!!), the sophisticated plot( strong plot with a wonderful twist!), and the intelligent dialogue (simply brilliant once again!).
I only hope that the fans feedback persuades Kou to make a sequel. Otherwise, I thank Kou for creating this masterpiece and I will just re-read it and enjoy it over and over again.

Nice art, interesting characters. Both main characters have fascinating, slippery personalities and it's fun to watch them bounce off of each other. The author reveals and obfuscates various character traits deftly. She doesn't just slap the "bad boy" label on some stock pretty boys, these are skillfuly rendered shady characters.
However, this manga's more confusing than its complex plot could justify. Sometimes it's hard to tell who is talking. It does end rather abruptly, which is justified by the plot but still left me wanting another page or two. There's some fun banter during the sex scene, but I didn't find the sex all that hot.
I do quite like Yoneda Kou; NightS just isn't her best work. Still, I gave it an 8 for a mystery plotline that kept me guessing until the end.

Admittedly, the plot gets a tad confusing (like many Yoneda Kou works, this one requires more than one read, to fully understand). But the characters are the most important part, and they're multi-dimensional and engaging. Much of this story shifts between a quiet sorrowful feeling and a romantic tension - it's wonderfully written, with witty dialogue banter and a steamy scene that's hot, but never overdone or ridiculous like in most other yaoi stories.
Yoneda Kou has a real talent at writing mature, developed and intriguing characters. In my view, this makes her work stand out profoundly. And her art only continues to get better - this story is downright gorgeous to look at.

Though it was developed enough, I can't stop myself from wishing it had been more, because I want to look more in the relationship of those two, I really really like the characters. Well, leaving the end as it is may be a good choice as well, sometimes more development means destroying the original feeling.

What I most like about Yoneda-sensei stories is the complexity of the plots and the characters depth. This is a 54 pages one shot with a very complex story that involves secrets and the crime world with a very hot encounter between the two main characters. The readers won´t feel disappointed.
