A good sequel that stays light hearted and flamboyant, don't read it if you don't get it

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I'm dying omg the chapter about censoring was the best friggin part why have i not read this earlier!!

i love minami maki and cliche ridiculous moments and laughing about cliche ridiculous moments so if you do too, please read this!!

If you don't feel like forgiving fabulously sexist and classist fantasies, and there are a lot in this volume, don't be disheartened to look elsewhere. I wanted Hikari to finally beat Kei too, but it became clear to me that Minami Maki intends to keep their dynamic because it was what made the series light hearted and comical, so you'll be better off reading Chihayafuru if you're that eager to see a female reign over a guy. The tropes Minami plays here are all for the sake of lols and the feels, so if you can laugh at classism and sexism while being feminist, you're good. For the love of god though, do not be encouraged to act like these characters, who are dorks and literally horrible role models.

anyway, in this volume you'll find a gender swap chapter where you can see minima maki's canon gender bent designs, an age!dynamic chapter where Kei becomes 4 years old interacting with 17 year old Hikari... it was soooooo cute ugh. it's seriously a fun sequel. check it out!

If like me, you can't get enough of Kei being hopelessly devoted to the dense Hikari, then you'll relish the few short stories comprising this volume. Also, it colours Yahiro in a fun light. The tsukkomus make it all the more hilarious!

So, according to Kei (male lead), the only ways in which Hikari (female lead) could win and beat him, are:

1. He turns into a 4-year-old kid,

or:

He turns into a woman and Hikari into a man (Chapter 6).

Why does he become dumb and weak when he turns into a woman?

When Hikari and Takishima were having their matches, Takishima (now turned into a girl) lost all of them.
In one of the matches, when someone asked them: "What's 3+4?", girl Takishima replied: "5!!".

His gender was the only variable that changed, so, he became dumb only because his gender changed?
