Vampire, zombie, or human; if it were you, which one would you choose?
It all started from making a selection in a social game. But what if the selection that you casually chose in the game became reality?
3 Volumes (Complete)

It’s a pretty good action-tragedy manga. I really liked it.
Very short read too. Recommended if you’re looking to quickly read something in 1-2 seatings.
There is some weird pacing here and there, but it’s mostly between chapters. The setting isn’t anything spectacular but it works (it’s the classic closed-off mysterious island deathgame survival). Surprisingly, the focus is mostly on character relationships rather than action and the three species system really helped with that.
The cast is surprisingly big but not many of the characters play that important of a role and a few reoccurring ones don’t even have names.
The art is also very good and shines the best in the double pages.
In ch9 Souma is looking really cool and in ch10 there’s a beautiful double page of Souma attacking Shiba. Can you tell who was my favorite lol
Don’t read the following for a genuine reading experience.
Now, to address the last chapter...
Of course with a setting like that this is a tragedy manga, and that’s what I signed up for. You can really smell the tragedy from miles away. It was doing fine at being exactly what I expected it to be, even managed to make me sad. But then,Shiba won. And he was transported back to the original world. And nobody actually died. Nope, they’re all alive and kicking and great friends. It really was just a game. They pull the good ol’ “lol it was all a dream” kind of trick. They even had the main couple fall in love again. Oh and guess what this all meant nothing because it’s a vicious circle kind of deal smh.
Honestly, could have been worse but it could’ve been way better too. I guess it’s fine to read the last chapter too, as long as
you like very distilled stories or can’t handle sad stuff. I guess it does its job in being a happy ending, because the minuscule amount of sadness I was feeling by ch14 was magically gone by ch15. If it wasn’t for ch15, maybe it’d be the kind of story that comes back to you at night.
Thank you for reading my terrible review. I hope you pick this up ^^
