I have mixed feelings about this manga. There's no artificial drama, childish miscommunication, or convenient plot twists, which is nice, and it does feel fairly "realistic" in that sense, but the character development doesn't feel strong enough to carry the slice-of-life non-plot.

The synopsis is a little misleading - it makes it seem like the "condition" is a big plot point or something. The back of my (Taiwanese edition) tankobon starts out similar to the synopsis here, but says nothing about the "condition" and instead says 「在保留告白回應的狀態下，兩人之間的距離開始悄悄地拉近了——」, i.e. "While maintaining this state of affairs about [Nara's] response to [Ikuta's] confession, the distance between the two begins to narrow quietly——“ which I think is a more accurate description. Unfortunately, the narrowing of the distance felt a little too quiet for me - I didn't understand or feel the development of much attachment between the main characters.

The art is not great. Character faces are inconsistent enough that if the manga wasn't so tightly focused on the two main characters, I probably would have gotten confused about if whether a new character had suddenly been introduced. Also, there are a lot of close-up shots, and sometimes it's hard to tell what is going on.
