Description

The manga is about a love between three people, in particular a woman who marries two men.

Too much story crammed into 3 volumes, but still interesting for a mfm poly manga

The story is quite hard to follow because there's just SO much drama, miscommunication, tragic backstories and sex packed into three little volumes. However, I still think it's an interesting read especially with how few published mfm poly stories there are out there.

However, I found the third volume and ending to be really disappointing (SPOILERS):

Although I enjoyed the story progression of Emito having feelings for Suisei, what I DIDN'T expect was for Emito to be a trans woman! The trans aspect itself is not bad at ALL, but it was sad to see it implied that Emito doesn't sleep with Lia anymore just because she became a woman.

The way it was written felt like the only way for Emito's feelings for Suisei to be reciprocated was if they were a woman, and once Emito was a woman, Lia and Emito couldn't be sexual with each other. LET THEM ALL BE BI/PAN!!!! PLUS EMITO LITERALLY BECOMES LIA, WITH HER EXACT HAIRSTYLE, LIKE??? If Emito was going to transition, at least let her have her own appearance omg

Not to mention, Emito cheated on the two of them multiple times in the third volume and it was never really addressed or confronted between the three of them. In the end, it switched from mfm with Lia being the center, to fmf with Suisei in the center.

I would have much preferred if it ended with everyone loving each other equally, not Emito suddenly only wanting to sleep with Suisei. And in my selfish opinion, I wish Lia stayed the center of their love LOL There are already SOOO many fmf poly manga, just give me !!ONE!! series that is mfm from start to finish 😭 And I know the title "We Started A Threesome" is eye-catching, but they have an actual threesome only Once. Just gonna imagine the series ends with vol. 2...
