Description

Very heavy yet heart-warming

As I write this, I have read up till 66 chapters. I also was curious with the story and chose to search the ending in the novel.

The story seems to delve into two orphans who lived a painful life up to the first chapter. The story focuses strongly on love as friendship more than romance which was surprising (since most tend to have romance as part of the main plot).

I usually tend to drop comic when the story feels too heavy and I feel the emotions rushing to me, but I feel I want to continue reading. I cannot wait for the story to continue and to see final chapter. I hope to see the bittersweet ending ^^

Mediocre and boring

Poor worldbuilding, other than a zoomed in map there is little "building" to go about, there are giants and superhumans, but they are presented with no intro as if there was no need to explain at all, the religions are not explained either, I thought it was an alternate reality at first, just a different land with christianity as it's main religion, but it's nothing of the sort, there is magic or mystic arts or something, don't know because again, not explained nor introduced.
The characters are the same, I keep reading with the expectation that at one point the author will grace us with something, some backstory, you know, why the prince does what he does, why the MC has her powers, what happened 8 years ago, what happened to the crazy redhead? But nothing is ever explained (so far, 40ch in), new characters keep popping in, new uncertainties, but the old ones are lest unaddressed. Yeah, I know they will be at some point (probably), but it's done very poorly imo.
Then we have the annoying humor that creeps in even in the most solemn moments. too intrusive, too in your face that you can't take the story seriously and it's ment to be a very serious and dramatic teary story.
Art is good or even great, pace is... inconsistent.
Overall, it's hard to like this for me, it's an interesting story but it's a mess and is very poorly executed, and if I were to resume it in one world it would be, boring. Dropped at ch40, got annoyed with the lack of explanations and the irritating characters.

The concept is quite alright, but the execution of it was done poorly.
The characters are terrible. Exceptionally Diathy who I despise. Made be stop reading it just because of his presence.
Would not recommend unless you like his personality.

surprisingly really good, I’m on my toes almost every chapter. The prince is a really interesting character and mc is refreshing to read. She’s quite funny but shows her emotions when she needs to which I really like. Bonus is that her knight is so cute

The storyline is quite unique im enjoying it so far

I'm on 21st chapter.
My impressions: this is a very good adaptation of a very promising novel. And LeviatanScans make brilliant scanlations~

The art is very vivid, lively and pretty. The accents in postures and perspective, transitions between scenes are well-done.

But what's even better, the storyline is exciting. The plot seems to focus more on personal relationships and mysteries of the past instead of romance, and action and humor is combined with psychology, philosophy and bits of angst.

I'd say that quite a lot of things are explained through dialogues, small details and/or after some time, so if you prefer direct, clear and immediate commentaries, it may be a bit frustrating. But I actually prefer this story's style - that makes the world seem much more realistic, imo.

Altogether the art, the plot and the worldbuilding make this story to stand out from the recent trends. I definitely recommend it as long as you're ready to focus on something different from typical settings.
