2 Volumes (Complete)

If you have to read this book, read at least the last story ! My rating is actually only for this one. It's not anything striking, but well done, with a bittersweet taste that I really enjoyed and a sufficient amount of emotional tension to make you feel for the characters. A good quick read actually.
Otherwise I would rate the rest of the book at 5, the main story was not very convincing, the evolution of the characters' feelings was rushed and baseless, and there were too many clichés. I don't mind them when they're well developed, but here it just feels flat and shallow. It just made me feel like I've already read this hundred times. The first oneshot wasn't as bad, but nothing great as well, a basic plot with basic feelings and basic characters, even if better done than in the main story. And the outcome happened too easily for me.
Well this is only my comment about the first volume since the second one hasn't been translated yet.
why do these two guys end up together? the uke is a complete and utter moron. He has this sweet guy who has been his friend for years and honestly loves him, and he turns him down for some jerk that was using him to win some dumb idol. i dont get it. the seme in the story spends 2/3 chapters of the story sleeping with some other guy while at the same time going after the uke and kissing him... definitely not my type of story... it would have ended perfectly had the uke realized his feelings for the best friends and told the seme to go you know where!
(@Meh) .... Because he's already too sweet to need another uke by his side 🙂
Just kidding. I think gentle ones are undoubtedly not Tateno's type, and luckily not mine either. So I'm quite content with the seme role. But I really got problems with the uke. Tateno's uke for long have been much weaker and more timid than they seem to be, and this one must be the "Juliet" of all Tateno's uke we've ever seen
I'm not crazy about this one. It's about two school presidents, one obnoxious uke who's slated to blow off his best friend (who genuinely likes him) for some arrogant jerk, and one seme (aforementioned jerk). Can someone explain why the sweet one always gets thrown under a bus?
Surprisingly bad. I'm shocked. I've always liked all of Tateno's works but this one is actually kinna bad. The art is not as beautidul. Usually her art is gorgeous but this one is like an imitation instead of her usual work.
