Description

Jaehee has a terrible history with dating in the office, so she intentionally remains single to focus on her work. But things get complicated when she starts having risqué dreams about her boss, Mr. Seo, and nothing she does can quell the intoxicating fantasies. While trying to balance work and these impure thoughts, Jaehee happens upon a mysterious old woman that swears a cheap-looking bracelet will protect her from the incubus haunting her dreams. But if what she says is true, then is Mr. Seo really a lustful incubus? It would explain why Jaehee can't control her physical urges around him. Are these symptoms a reflection of her inner desires or is she simply under her boss's spell?

(Upto ch22 s1 finale)
There's some dubious seduction at the start because of the seductive nature of incubus stories...but if you can get pass that, this is quite the engrossing read, and the gradual change of their feelings from physical to emotional was done well.

Good Smut Buuuuut Bad Ending

The smut was good and that alone would normally make this a 9, but the second season/ second story was left unfinished with unanswered questions which annoyed me. The ending was just rushed overall.

He never found out if she was a succubus. The author never resolved if she was in a relationship with his dad or even showed if it was mentioned to the guy she was then with.

it’s 3 in the morning but i have to write this because i’m screaming.
centered around succubus/incubus concept, two seasons with a diff couple focus each. if ur attached to s1 dw they make cameos in s2
s1 kind of clunky. relationship between ml and fl was poorly laid out imo; while his eventual feelings for her and conflicting thoughts on manipulating were cute (omg bae ur doing the bare minimum) and he was really adorable, i thought it was kind of rushed. no substantial romantic moment, kind of just lots of office sex. and then bam he changes his mind. but the romance was really cute and it made my toes curl.
everyone’s saying s2 is worse and tbh i disagree. s1 was kind of a mutual forbidden “will they or won’t they” playing hard to get romance w an ml2. some discussion of their motives and backgrounds, esp fl, but overall not very fully explained. the time skip was a tad confusing as well.
s2 in comparison had a much more interesting relationship focused on developing the characters as people to each other and the audience. same dive into the target (ml in s2) bg, and also the x-bus (fl in s2). i didn’t think her story was well explained cuz i was confused but there was a lot of nuance behind her concepts of relationships. ml was also kind of standard “poor little rich kid” story wo much thought.
they’re much more interesting than s1 imo bc it wasn’t insta-love and there was a lot of back and forth in the relationship. plus their personalities are more distinct and colorful outside of each other. she’s strong headed but emotionally wounded and he’s cute and sweet like a puppy but eager and kind. they both develop and support each other while they run away from each other. yes she’s pushy but so was the ml in s1 and idk femdom is just omg
wish there was more to the ending tbh. would’ve really knocked it out of the park for me because i loooooved the ml in s2 sm (ml in s1 was also really cute).
very short, good art (very familiar, kinda looks like beware the villainess), quick romantic read. lots of nice empowering messaging!!
succubus concept in both was not well explained. the magic behind it, the world, everything was so rushed. felt like propped up mystique without the payoff. stakes were drawn though. i think this was axed since everything was kind of clumsy incl the s2 fl’s bg the most (like what was that scene at the hospital ??) s1 mls incubus past isn’t explained at allllll. interesting that he served a senior role in s2.
consent issues confused me as well. like did the targets consent or not ?? and the ages of the s2 characters confuse me sm isn’t she like 2 years older in body lol why did they say sm

overall: 8/10 bc perhaps i’m feeling generous but this hit me when i needed a pick me up and i spent the past hour or two consumed in it. quick read, loveable characters, some of the best porn i’ve read in like ever. j adorable romances all around

The first season and second season are two different stories.

I really enjoyed the story from the first season. I thought everyone’s motivations and actions made sense, and appreciate that the characters were all mature and respectful. The selling point for this manga is definitely the topic of incubi, and both the smut and the mysticism are done well.

Speaking of smut, this would’ve been a good story (though, maybe lacking a little in content lol) even without the smut scenes. I’m so appreciative of the fact that this is both well written / drawn smut and a well written story. Very few of those out there.

With the second story, I really don’t like the main character as she’s written to be quite off-putting to the male lead at the start, and, well, she is. I might come back to the story at some later point but am not that interested in reading it.

one of my favorite smut webtoons! i love the art and the 🔞 scenes are hot af 🥵

ml is an incubus yet in spite of that fact, he approached the fl bc he really loves her.

I also love the second couple! however the fl was hesitant at first, meaning, a bunch of drama. even so it's a happy ending!
