I saw this coming a mile away but still gave it a try.

A premise of a girl who gets sold off via marriage by her parents/family, meaning you will follow a girl being bullied left and right for the sake of the plot. That sucks. I should have stopped then, but I couldn't just stop at chapter 1 right ? 🙁

The "romance" is not romance but just a guy forcing himself on the lady as usual, and what does she do ? She falls in love with him, while knowing he is a bastard and made her suffer.

That just gives me stomach cramps. And makes me write this comment. Upsetting.

ML acts like a pushy, inconsiderate man and treats the FL like a fragile piece of glass that must be protected at all times- though she is perfectly capable of handling her own business (and he is aware of that! He just follows her around to ‘protect’ her in order to fulfill his ego!!)

He doesn't hesitate to push around the FL to get what he wants, eg he makes the FL trip and fall over just so he can catch her and touch her waist ☠️☠️ and at one point he kisses her forcefully. without consent😕 damn slimy pervert

TLDR
This story which revolves around the FL’s scheming and intelligent behaviour, is stained by the unreasonable ML.

If you can tolerate a forced romance with a cocky and unreasonable ML (in an extra annoying way), go ahead and read this because apart from that the story was surprisingly good.

It isn't the most original, but it's enjoyable: I love the protagonist, her father, her brother, her sister, A-Jin and the emperor.

It’s a regression romance revenge cliche but with surprisingly good development. MC is strong and smart but has reserved manner so more realistic. She’s meticulous with step by step revenge so it’s satisfying to read (revenge plot is so good I recommend you to read the MTL-ed LN).
ML is a lil pushy at first but well consent was given :-)

This is not you Mama's manhua. Sure, it's got a lot of the same tropes: scheming relatives, perfect MCs, reincarnation, etc. I rolled my eyes when I realized the MC had 2 ex-husband. Great. Double the angst and double the revenge! I suppose she's gonna take em both back! It's not like that. There's a twist.

The manhua is composed of a series of murder mysteries. One of the crimes isn't a mystery but involves a serial killer.

There's also a really adorable dog to bring some levity to the series. The dog is super smart and is a general. It's really funny to see the other court officials get angry because he outranks them.
MC's brother is also very sweet.

Of course, there's the usual court intrigue but I enjoy the humor and the love story. The interactions between the royal brothers are funny-- especially when they get drunk.

Everyone fawns over the beauty of both the ML and FL with little thought to the personality behind the pretty face, the FL always seems to win with ease although a lot of evidence presented in this story would never be enough to truly punish corrupt people in power.

The story isn't taking itself seriously so don't go in expecting anything really deep. The story spends a lot of its time pretending to be a detective story where the FL gets justice for those murdered by rich families.

The ML and FL don't actually have chemistry from what I have seen, the ML goes from nice, jerk, pushy, stalker, to I am going to give you space, he is pulling out all the schemes and none of the charm to get the girl. He isn't the worst ML I have seen, but he does fall into the "when a girl says no she means yes" territory.

Another time-loop girl, there is nothing particularly good in this one, but I dislike the romance, the relation of the FL and ML is quite annoying. Same for the ocasional chibi art. Both are intended to be funny, again as with most manhuas and manhwas, I don't find it funny at all.
