As I said, the story starts off good. One of the main problems is the main character, Haruki Amamiya. While I share his worldview and moral compass about saving others and what not, there's a point in the story where I felt his character began to ruin it. He became hyper-stubborn and reckless all for one person. Granted, I realize this person is highly important to him, but I felt that since the beginning of the story people had been telling him he had no real understanding of the situation as a whole and only wanted to make decisions without truly understanding or experiencing everything. Even when he started to experience the situation he still acts without consideration for other people and how his actions may have consequences for those people. Otherwise, the story is interesting and it is a new take on zombies, but other than that, nothing different from other zombie stories. Many liken it to High School of the Dead, minus all the fan service.

Although the zombies are presented here in a different way, the concept is basically the same as all zombies. There is not much to say about the survivors, maybe is to early to see who is a suitable leader. As for Kirara, who goes running around with exposed panties... well, it's just the ecchi touch, I really doubt she kept that aspect throughout the whole story. And as for the translation, What the hell is "Raggy sis", Senior Kikuchi" or "Big Brother"? wouldn't it be better to use the Japanese terms "Ragi-nee", "Kikuchi senpai" and "Onii-chan"? In that aspect, Poor College Student Translations made a better work in the first chapter.
