This is a really amazing collection of stories. The only Steinbeck books I've read are "Of Mice and Men", and "the Pearl", but these stories reminded me a lot of them. They deal with poverty and hopelessness, and when people try to make thier lives better, it doesn't work out. The art is also amazing. It is not in a typical manga/manwha style, it's a lot rougher, but also really detailed. Although some of the stories deal with the same themes, they are all told in such different ways that it doesn't get old. I really recommend this comic.
