I wish I've never seen this MC. I wish I've never seen his/her outfit. I wish for a better art style. I wish for a better manga because the anime sucks. I wish it was different...

I watched the anime and enjoyed it so I thought I'd check out the manga too. I haven't started it yet but there was something I found weird, after watching the anime I definitely would have bet on the name a having nudity in it lol because the maids from the anime are literally naked in the 1st episode! Although they didn't show the nipples but other than that, the entire breast was visible. I just found it funny when I seen it in the anime but to my surprise the manga has no nudity, but anyways I'll still be checking it out (eventually) but not sure when seeing how I'm currently reading 50 other ongoing manga, manhwa and manhua. I'll definitely update my comment when I do "give it a look see".

People don't know the meaning of fiction

I'm tired of people coming and commenting that they are sexualizing something inappropriate, this only shows this citizen's inability to separate fiction and reality. This is an excellent manga and the protagonist has an exotic design that was created thanks to the artists' freedom with fictional stories, I highly recommend this manga for both the action and the comedy.

Its honestly really funny but I can't really get past the fact that they are sexualizing children, he is 10, his maid looks over 18. Also his sister kissing him is just kind of weird to me.

this is actually a decent manga if you ignore the obvious shotacon tropes.. 💀 isekai mangaka authors always do this shit man. they make great mangas but ALWAYS have to sneak in their weird ass sexual proclivities. nobody has to know that you like children!! STOPPP.

++ idk if its the site I was reading on, or the manga itself, but after chapter 120 this manga randomly becomes full colour😕 And its so ugly… the scenes are also done using 3D models and omg… its so UGLY. HIDEOUS EVEN. Bro- I kid you not there's this monster they kill in chapter 120 and it deadass looks like a lego lion. My eyes hurt looking at this trash

MC (Lloyd) is an overpowered magic prodigy who is obsessed with magic. He cares about his friends, but usually its the bare minimum. He doesn't hide his abilities for some noble cause but rather if people found out he was strong, they would never stop bothering him and he couldn't spend time on magic.

The characters are great, the action scenes amazing, the art GODLIKE. The one, and ONLY thing to critique and turn people off, the artist is a VERY obvious Shotacon. Based on the LN art looking NOTHING like this, this is the artists kink and not the author. Clearly Japan finds nothing wrong with it though, since for the anime they even made Lloyd look even MORE disturbing.

Like, its not a central focus, and can be ignored, but its still a major distraction when it IS presented in front of you. Also, people saying "you need to separate fiction from reality" with regards to this are illiterate. The phrase “separate fiction from reality” is used to dismiss concerns about harmful content. Just because something is fictional doesn’t mean it exists in a vacuum, free from consequences. If a piece of media normalizes or glorifies something deeply harmful, it can desensitize audiences, spread misinformation, or even embolden those with harmful beliefs (likely the ones challenging the concept to start with).

I Don't Know What To Think About It

The art is the first thing of note, particularly because the battle scenes are very good and almost everything else is dynamic. The girls are pretty, the grown men are decent, and the younger guys... are girls. For some reason this artist can't seem to draw younger guys, so they draw young female bodies doing adult female poses. And the main character is one such character. It's a bit disturbing, to be honest.

The various subplots that happen around the main character are average, which for OP isekai stories, means it's above average. It's no "That Time I Was Reincarnated As A Slime" but it's consistent and well paced.

The fight scenes are incredible set pieces, and those alone could make a worse story readable.

But the main character's personality... I feel like there's something missing. They aren't bad, just incomplete. At first their kind of empty personality is funny, but the longer it goes on, the more I dislike it.

Anyway, I don't know what to think about the manga as a package. There are pros and cons, and they don't really meld together, so they remain distinct. I guess that makes it more memorable?

Oh well, it's one of the decent isekai; just a bit empty.

Any sign of female intomamcy, he rejects (which was gunny at first, but is so annoying)

This is a really enjoyable story. It features solid writing, a fun cast of characters including an overpowered character who can stomp everyone but is nonetheless enjoyable to read about (this is not an easy feat of writing!), really enjoyably depicted action sequences (e.g. there's one chapter that consists entirely of a non-stop sword combo), great use of color (often the pages are in black and white while the magic is in color), some genuinely emotionally compelling sequences, and so on.

Downsides: In later arcs the side characters get more time to shine, which is fine because they're fun enough, but slows down the pacing. Call that the One Piece problem. Also, there's lots of fan service which I personally don't care for. And most damningly, the friggin' volumes, which you'd expect to be the best version of the story, are in black and white. So they lack all the great color usage, and the lower contrast makes some scenes much harder to parse, especially busy action sequences.
