FL being jealous of ML's sick mom is kinda sus and she pushing him away just so she would later make sad faces is nonsensical to read. After reading this a bit the FL went one step over and started getting jealous and angsty with every female friend ML had, she got all sad and overthinking over little things.
But what got me most angsty was her passive streak, lols if this other girl also likes my boyfriend why not just let her have him I'm cringe trash anyway thinking. She doesn't trush in the first place and is hella selfish only caring about herself and her feeling. She is trash tbh.

Pure sus manga without much story and super frustrating FL with jealous and overthinking personality like every shoujo.

Dropped this sus cringefeast.

I read bc of the hype around it, it is really light hearted, drama-free, pure, slow paced and boring

So i dropped at chapter 10. But it might suit your taste, so give it a try! This is very similar to Kimi ni Todeke: light hearted, and the protagonists' vibes

Don't know what's with Manga trivializing assault and sexual abuse, but forcing someone to kiss is wrong, the drama with the second ml was just unnecessary.

It was fine I guess, it's a fairly vanilla and mostly drama free story, although that can also make it boring for some.
All the drama that was there came mostly from lack of confidence.

The characters are mostly likeable, except for Ran's father, that cockblocking incident and the subsequent result kinda ruined the story for me. Sorry, I just hate when some people think they can restrict what others can and can't do, specially when they use the "I'm looking out for you" excuse to get away with anything they want, and I hate it even more when the "obvious" response from the victim is to plead forgiveness, when they've done nothing wrong... oh how I wished she would have started her rebellious phase instead, it could have led to some interesting developments and actual drama, but I suppose she just doesn't have it in her, it wouldn't fit her character, god forbid she has some actual growth.

And because of that scaredy-cat of a father this high school romance story ends just like all the other ones, with no progress made above kissing, no first time, no marriage, nothing. I'm kinda getting tired of these childish stories that end prematurely.

Also side character development ? barely any.

What a wholesome, healthy relationship!

If you're sick and tired of all the 90's and 2000's shoujo depiction of love/romance that shows extreme jealousy, codependency, possessiveness, tsundere/yandere, and the like, this is completely the series to restore your faith in humanity (or, at least restore your faith in Japanese shoujo manga tropes). I picked this series up with very few expectations since I've never read any of the author's previous works before. The art was cute and wispy, and I do like many a series with pretty female leads (my weakness!), so this seemed to be right up my alley.

A few chapters in, I was just completely enamored with the male lead, Akira. Oh man....he makes Kazehaya from Kimi no Todoke seem immature! Akira is so kind, caring, thoughtful, mature (but still maturing), and man...so so so wholesome. He's the perfect foil to Ran, the serious and beautiful but shy/timid heroine. It for sure made me feel very キュンキュンinside, lol.

I still have two more books to go to finish this, but I can't imagine it letting me down this late in the game. I did read Ammitsu-sensei's other work, Kanna to Decchi, and that was really cute/fluffy, as well, but just didn't have the right heartstring-tugging moments as this series. Highly recommend to those looking for fluffy, feel good shoujo that will restore your faith in healthy, cotton-candy-like relationships!

This is like so easy to read and refreshing and you get some flower language lessons too from it too. Both the ML and FL are totally adorable and super shy so it’s really cute seeing them convey their feelings with flowers.

At first glance FL can seem like a Mary Sue being written to be insanely beautiful and good at every facet of school and athletics but then we actually do get to see much more better insight into her character and how hard she works at obtaining her status (she’s constantly shown working out while studying) , she’s the yamato nadeshiko archetype but very humanized and has her own complex feelings and emotions and turmoils too which is so nice to have in a shoujo lead. I think her isolation from others putting her on a pedestal is very relatable for someone her age. She constantly tries to ignore it but clearly it bothers her no one really gets to know her until Akari starts talking to her and she’s too awkward and shy to initiate the conversations

Male lead is wonderful and also has his own unique humanizing characteristic that makes him relatable and not a super cute flawless shoujo male lead.

There are love rivals but they’re pretty insignificant and just used to propel the two leads relationship, they’re also written pretty annoyingly so it’s easy to not creating all out ship wars and leave literally right after their arc ends which is weird cuz they never show up anymore after that

Overall the art is lovely, pacing is great, story is cute. can’t ask for a better shoujo

Cant believe no reviews for this fluffiest pure series 😍 the artstyle is very good, story is good also informative about flowers. This mangakas works are always informative (kanna to decchi).
Main couple is just precious if you like shoujo without drama (of course there are some classic shoujo arcs) this is it. It gives u bliss while reading.
