Started of good but the change in art style is terrible and personally ruined the story. After every obstacle the reader pretty much knows daisy is gonna overcome the social gossip, problem etc so there really isn’t anything exciting to expect. Giving this a 5 because it’s very average.

This review is just for the first season, haven’t read farther than that yet.

I like this manga! The characters are all decent people and the main character’s drive to make a good life for herself keeps the story interesting.

All of the characters have reasonable motives for their actions - ex. why the ML doesn’t want to fall in love, why the FL doesn’t want to marry, why the FL’s older sister acts the way she does, etc. etc. It’s definitely a step up from otome isekai-like manga where you need to totally suspend your beliefs in order to enjoy the story.

The art is good - not anything to gush over but still pretty and appreciated.

The romance is pretty nice in this one as well! I was thinking maybe there’d be very little for a while based on the premise, or that there’d be drama about it and the ML would be a cold jerk or something to start off with, but was pleased to find that wasn’t the case! Both the FL and ML are more against their past experiences and observations of love than anything else, but it’s not like their hang-ups about love affect how they treat each other. And they treat one another very well, especially the ML! Seeing him respect her and fall for her (and her blush for him) is really cute! Also appreciate how their physical relationship is teased in this manga - that while this isn’t smut, they don’t only kiss. (I suppose this is josei, though.)

It’s always great to see a nice and competent FL. Even though I think how she’s so smart and intelligent and beautiful is commented on a little too often by other characters, I get that the author’s trying to make a point about how she’s seen by others versus how she sees herself.

The supporting characters are also interesting, and that’s a nice plus as it makes the story more enjoyable to read.

And again as a josei manga, this story does manage to avoid falling into the variety of pitfalls it could’ve and that shoujo manga so often do, and that alone is refreshing. Like how the male and female leads actually communicate with each other pretty well.

I wouldn’t say this is anything super new or original or crazy good, but this is a solid manga that’s well done and I did read all of the first season in a sitting! Would recommend.

Update 12/13/21:
So I just caught up to chapter 74. The art's sometimes good but can be quite inconsistent, and I have to say the fifteen or so chapters I read today were just okay, nothing particularly cute or funny or interesting. Gonna update it to a seven 'cause the story's still okay and I still appreciate a level-headed female lead.

I had a fun time reading whats been posted so far, and definitely had a few laughs.
Usually, the fl hides the fact they know the future after being isekai'd (or in this case, sent to the past after their death, to change their future), but in a way, the fl tells the ml from the start. i find that a little interesting, and it made for some nice scenes i suppose.

The cast are gems, and i love that the fl is smart and strong. she knows her value and isnt afraid to show that she values herself. I'm tired of annoying, damsel in distress fl's, so it makes me happy to see a down-to-earth, confident and all-around lovely fl. it's a nice read.
