Si-bon, a genius perfumer celebrated throughout France, suddenly loses his sense of smell - and with it, his purpose in life. Wanting to quietly end everything, he travels to Korea. But when he throws himself into the sea, he’s rescued by Hae-woon, an eccentric man who runs a small antique shop by himself. As Si-bon prepares to make another attempt at ending his life, he receives a message from his friend Pierre saying that there might be a way to restore his sense of smell. Regaining a flicker of hope, Si-bon decides to stay and work part-time at Hae-woon’s antique shop for three months before returning to France. However, as days pass, Si-bon finds himself increasingly entangled in the quiet, mysterious world of this strange man… and begins to wonder if what he’s rediscovered is not just his sense of smell, but something far deeper.
