Description
Charlotte, a bookworm who dreams of becoming a writer, starts her new job as a maid for Lord Matthew and his sister Lady Anna, the last remaining members of the Parvens family. Her ability to write catches the attention of them both. Now, for Matthew, she is tasked to write letters pretending to be him, while for Anna, she must secretly report on Matthew's day-to-day affairs. Putting pen to paper has never been so difficult! What will become of Charlotte when the Parvens family's twisted deceptions come to light?

Honestly, I hesitated reading this at first because romance genres are usually my go-to stories (even if it's only a subplot), but I was told there was little to none romance-aspect in this one. So I stopped around Chapter 30? (gave it a temporary 8 rating) because it didn't hook me enough because of the lack of romance, but I picked it up again earlier today and binged it.
ART IS GREAT, simple and no distracting effects and background. I read Your Eternal Lies first and found the art style similar to this---turns out it is from the same artist. I love Your Eternal Lies in terms of atypical plot and art. Same goes to this story. Execution and pacing is just right. It didn't really felt rushed in contrast to what the other commenter said.
I'd like to point out the things I love or found different:
1. Glasses-wearing FL in an aristocratic setting (I only have read Duchess Crow / Raven Duchess with glasses, recommend me some if you know!)
2. a servant FL (i've always wanted to make a story thru a servant's POV, and this was awesome)
3. sibling-focused story (usually it's parent-child issue)
4. nothing political-heavy (it was refreshing to see just an internal problem, not much involving a lot of outsiders)
5. the mini plot twists
I also bawled at the end. I loved how everything turned out. I might be exaggerating, but this is really a gem for me. I hope the creator will create more works so I can support them. Thank you for this!

I highly recommend it, it's really nice. But don't expect romantic love, you'll be disappointed.

Nothing went the way i expected it to and bawled my eyes out at the end. I was disappointed with the ending bc it wasn’t what I wanted and it felt a bit rushed, but honestly read it. The art is beautiful, the characters are beautiful, and the story is bittersweet :’)
It’s not exactly a romance per sé, it’s more about friendship and familial love.
