Ritsu is a third year high school student who's preparing for his university entrance exams. He lives together with his younger brother, Shirabe, his younger sister, Kanade, and his mother who had continued to bring them up in warmth even after his father passed away. One day, they found out that their mother is sick and now, while their mother is hospitalized, Ritsu takes her place in the kitchen for the first time.
