I'll complain about character evolution: When you read on chapter in a week, it kind of slipped my notice, but reading it over from first chapter - it's totally off. MC hates women, has a darn good reason to do it, but he just get over it in blink of an eye. Same for original girls trio, they have their stuff and then just BAM, forget about it.
I wish it would have been done more fluid.
Story as well lacks a bit of natural flow, so to speak.
For a webtoon it has really nice art. Na... I'll even drop that webtoon part. It has really nice and fitting art style.
It's a great entertainment, so job well done, "Girls of the Wild's"!

There is a ton of great things to say about this series and I know many people will agree with me but from reading some comments, there are people who turn their nose on the series without truly understanding it. So I thought I'd share my opinion about why this series is good and what makes it that good.
The art is amazing, I think everyone can admit that whether they like the series or not. Zhena is an artist that I greatly respect and admire~
The story is definitely interesting and what supports that is a great cast of characters. A lot of people might find the our hero to be annoying and get irritated with him in the beginning, I did as well but I can understand why his character and progress was slower than what we might have liked. Our hero holds many traumas that really diminishes his self confidence, some people might think his character development should have processed faster but let me just say, you don't gain confidence from starting a sport but rather by getting good at it. That is where we are now.
I would also like to say that ROMANCE IS NOT THE TRUE FOCUS OF THIS SERIES NOR IS THIS A MARTIAL ARTS FOCUSED SERIES. It's really surprising when people are disappointed because the webtoon didn't go into either way, the story of the series is its characters, their life, their interactions, and their development. Does that make it bad? Not at all, I find it more enjoyable that way, it's not just some typical martial arts series where random bad guys constantly show up with some half-assed background story then just drag on from there, this webtoon has a lot of substance and it has a lot to give. It still has a great amount of martial arts and the romance so far as been really just a lot of teasing but if you're like me and you have reread the entire series up to the latest chapter, you'd know this series still has a lot of story to tell. In fact 100 chapters in and it seems as if we've barely even reached the middle of it. It's honestly harder to see that if you read it week by week since the chapters are shorter now but if you look at it as a whole, this series has been playing out perfectly.
Another good thing about it is that Hun, the writer, knows how to juggle his characters well. I feel like a lot of the mistakes in a harem or martial arts series is when there's just too many characters, sometimes in that situation some characters are forgotten and things get muddled but in Girls of the Wild's things are balanced well.
This webtoon is by no means flawless but at the same time there aren't any major flaws either, in fact I find it hard to complain about much in the series but that's probably because I'm bias, kukuku.
This series is highly recommended and I suggest that you read it!!

i had to re-comment on this because of the recent chapters. This manga started great for me cause it has good art and an interesting story with the lead at first...the action moments are really good and i really like the heroines but that being said the most recent chapters are starting to lose me story wise. im tired of either seeing the girls beat up bullies or the main character fighting bullies or just seeing the girls fawning over the main character cause thats all thats been happening recently; yea we know the girls are strong already and we've seen them beat up many bullies many times already so we dont need more of it; how about finally giving the girls opponents that are there level to fight? I mean later on they are constantly rehashing the same old stuff again like the girls beating up bullies as i said and the main character having a lot of coward/courage moments; i would have expected him to grow more character, martial arts and story wise by now but later they just have him at a standstill and he hasnt been training much and just has been going through his motions. Also they still throw coward moments his way a lot. Plus if that wasnt bad enough they constantly want to continue the "weak/pretty boy bullied male character" thing so much that they introduced two new guys who are almost exactly the same as the main character in the beginning and now we gotta waste time seeing them try to get stronger and get over their bullies.......just doing the same old same old with this manga. so yea this was a pretty good manga for me and i hope they get back to a great concrete story lines (like the martial arts tournaments and such) and stop all this side bull. I mean i was hoping it was going somewhere story wise or the main character would start trying to be the best but non of that, pretty much just strong girls beating up weak bullies for weaker pretty boys and yea....

What I got was a youth drama. I figured I could dig it anyway for the romance, but.... As I read on, it became apparent to me that the main characters tend towards stoic. Similar to the Japanese concept of 'Suffer silently". A couple may be rather flamboyant, but it's camouflage. The story is actually really frustrating to me now, as there's lots of misunderstandings because pain and desire tend to be hidden for duty in most characters. Not to mention romance is the last thing on Song Jae's mind. You can see how this could and is going south romance wise, yeah?
I feel this is a pretty mediocre over all. Love the art style though.
I would recommend Holyland over this one. Holyland would be more of a steak, if Girls of the Wild's were a hamburger. Steak's better, but a hamburger isn't bad every now and then. Just save up a ton more chapters before reading it is all I can say.

This is truly an amazing fighting/romance manhwa its slow in the the first 15 chapters or so but really picks up afterwards, also the character development is amazing in the beginning we find that the protagonist is an incredibly weak MC who takes all the abuse given to him but later on learns to get over it and soon enough strengthens himself body and mind, those of you who decided to drop the manhwa in the first couple chapters because of the "pathetic" MC, rest assured, if you continue to read this series through you will love this fighting based harem manhwa

I started this last week and caught up in the space of about 3 days on top of having to work etc. It just sucks you in, Jae-Gu is likable, the bullying he goes through is heart wrenching and believable, the girls are all incredibly strong and don't seem to belong to any of the normal boring tropes.
As a martial artist myself, I found the whole league arc very interesting, the training inspiring (as in inspiring me to train more) and overall well written. I don't think it's lost it's edge or anything, it's just that the story line has changed along a different path, I'm sure it'll change again.
Overall, it was the characters that kept me coming back, especially Dal Dal, whose devotion to Jae-Gu seems belieavble and incredibly sweet. I can't wait for chapter 90!

I found that I really dislike him and decided to quit reading this when the story starts to be very boring and normal. It starts off very promising through.
The protagonist is a very stupid character though, especially after the stuff with that expired sushi or something. If he could not even take a fight for his siblings, the most important people in his life, to the end, I cant connect with him. Just because someone stops him, he actually stops, is he a dumbass?

This series has been getting a lot of good feedbacks and scores lately. So I thought, why not, I ought to give it a try right? It is about the underdog and the upperclass *seriously like upper-class consumers who buy high class products*. It should be nice right?
So, it was NICE for me for the first like 15 chapters. BUT then I realised, the LEVEL OF DRAMA in this manhwa was WAY ABSURD. Everything was overacted from anger to admiration, from love to hatred, from bully to hero, from low to high, from mess to cool, I mean EVERYTHING.
1. The main character was TOO weak to even be considered a man.
2. The females of Wild's High were all TOO affectionate towards him. There was no prove of his good look, grade, demeanor, or characteristic that would make him desirable the first day he arrived at the school. It was like they lived in a world where he was the only male. And although he was a weak and meek male, they preferred him over the douches.
3. The siblings were TOO thought-ative. Their actions were simultaneous. They didn't even stop a second to observe the situation instead immediately acted happily or sadly towards whoever surrounded them. When you was a kid, were you that friendly to new people? Please.
4. The coolness and the arrogance and ignorance of the Wild's Highschoolers were TOO over-the-top. Whenever they entered a fight, they were always way too confident and displayed the spirits like "you are no match for me", "quit before I make you a vegie for the rest of your life", "you're pathetic, you think you'd be my match". Okay okay, I got it already. I got that all of you were champions and everything. But shouldn't you suffer shits before you could be that high-and-mighty? Or even if you were good, wouldn't there be someone who was better then you?
5. The emotions of the characters were shallow and restricted to very few. If one was cool, s/he was cool. If one was weak, s/he was weak. If one was angry, s/he was angry. So on. And it was just irritating dragging on with the comic.
It is a good read. The art is also being well taken care of. And to most of the people out there, I assume, it should be something really really worthwhile. BUT FOR ME, it is not something I have the energy to keep on follow. It's chapter 18 that I'm at. And it can be seem very early and I'm supposed to have wasted some really good stuffs ahead. It is a STOP for me.

The art is much better then average and in color (typical webtoon), but NOT in the "very good" zone. This webtoon is in the end all about fighting, unfortunately you can see often some major inconsistency in movements. I mean if the perspective change the fighter are standing different than i would expect from the picture before. And the fighting choreography isn't very good. But still better then the average (IMHO, most fighting scenes in other mangas/manhwas are unbearable bad). Look at, for example, Sun-Ken Rock how powerful movements and bodies can be drawn.
So far for the art. The beginning is very nice. I loved it. Without telling to much the reason for the director of this school to make it mixed gender school is to allow the girls, which are sometimes something more like amzones than girls, to get some experience whit boys and to loose their prejudices. So to help the first, and until now only, male student in his new school and to motivate the girls to socialize whit the boy, the director gives the girl which socialize whit the boy the most, a lot of extra points for the highly regarded honour distiction at the end of the year. Of course the most motivated girls, which are of course also the most powerful girls in the school, goes after the prize. And of course the wuss boy does not know anything about this prize. One of the most smartest explanation for a harem scenario which i ever have heard (i mean why more than one girl goes after the same boy). Respect!
At the very beginning the characters were funny, quirky and fresh. Fighting was only something used to make some comedy. And the tragic situation of the boy (father is dead and mother is run away from their children), explained directly at the beginning of the webtoon, brake from time to time the pure comedy setting so it don't get to shallow. Soon after this the webtoon begin to change, for the worse. First one of the girls lose its edge and is only a madly in love girlish girl which, only if the author needs it, show her superb fighting ability. Other girls follow this lead without being girlish. Second it is all about the looser boy which change his attitude and become the super fighter, or so. I have "read" till chapter 69 and the last 40 chapters are all about fighting. What even worse there are a lot of fighting actions which are totally, i mean TOTALLY, uninteresting for the plot or the character development. And they aren't even good fighting scenes. The last 20+ (from 69) chapters are about the first(!) day, which haven't even ended yet, of preliminaries(!) of a fighting event! It gives me creeps how long, in chapters, the main event will be.
So in the end i really enjoyed the beginning but the dominant "super-wuss transform to super-fighter and all the girls are getting wet" scenario which begins to crystallise is for me 'Been there, done that.' in other words boring. If you have time than you can give it a try. I keep this webtoon in reading list to look if my prediction is right. But i think it will take real-time years till some real big plot turning points (besides becoming super-fighter) emerge in chapter 356 or so. If the author had been following his first scenario the Manhwa would have been great.
