Description
Everyone has memories of their first love. For Dong-Ha, however, those memories are bittersweet, his first love only ended in regret. In high school, Dong-Ha's feelings were reciprocated by his crush Sung-Wu, but Dong-Ha avoided his first love for fear for losing his friends if they found out about his sexuality. It wasn't until later that he tried to express his true feelings, but by then Sung-Wu had disappeared from his life.

This felt like watching a teen melodrama, and the ending was abrupt and left too many questions unanswered, but I didn't hate it! It felt a bit rushed the whole time, like this already 70-chapter comic could have been twice as long (woah). But the plot is clear, the characters are distinct, and it has a lot of my favorite kind of juicy drama. I wouldn't say it's very satisfying from a romance perspective, though.
This story started well, with a complex plot, isekai-based but avoiding all of the genre's usual issues. I also dealt with what we suppose would be the main issue with someone transmigrating, that is, wondering which is reality, sense of madness, etc. The settings in 1930s Korea under Japanese rule is on point too. But the end was so rushed it didn't really made sense. The story needs another 10 chapters to get a proper ending

Loved this story... Initially. Until around chapter 65, when I expected this to continue the pace it was on and end properly, I would have given it a 9/10. The official English translation is now all out, and it doesn't fix anything that was wrong with less good translations. Needed at least 10 more chapters to do any justice to this story, now I almost feel betrayed for spending so much time looking forward to updates. This is a prime example of an ending getting botched so bad it destroys the story. Open-ended endings are alright if done well, but this was handled in the worst, most rushed way possible. The final 2 chapters feel like I read a poor summary instead of the full planned ending.

The story was really intriguing and drew you in at first, for the most part but the ending completely ruined it.
It ended with no proper closure and left readers more confused. We didn't get no answers to how he ended up in the novel nor if Sungwu was involved in it or knew of it. Nor did we get to see the development between them when he came back and it feels like Dongha no longer likes Sungwu but prefers his alternative Yoojin.
We didn’t get no conclusion on his feelings either on who he now loves or if he will constantly compare both Sungwu and Yoojin together, it sounds like a mess. Maybe once the chapter comes out in english I can understand more but I doubt it.
