What would you do if you suddenly encountered a high school kid who asked you to be his first lover? Well, that's what 27 year old Akira-san decides upon.

The manga seemed to be going in one direction and then BAM. Would be forgivable if the art was decent, if there was good smut, or if the characters were relatable at all... But none of the above apply.
i'll never figure out the ratings in this place, wry grin; we're so often at odds, and the fact that it's right on here makes me think the manga is underrated. this isn't as bad as that low score indicates. it's not great, but for a oneshot it has some meat.
i think that the low score comes from two things: 1. akira is willing to cheat on his lover without a second thought, and 2. we don't get invested in the final pairing at all, because the meat of the story is concentrated elsewhere. i am not bothered by the first, but the 2nd is a real problem. however, if you just read this oneshot for a tiny lesson on self-control and making a choice for the best of somebody else instead of going for the easy score; that's here, and it keeps the story from being a total waste of time.
what really surprises me is that the art here is better than in enomoto's work from 2003/2004. there are a couple of well-drawn action scenes and interesting viewpoints. the proportions are also never as terribly off as they become later. weird; usually somebody's art gets better as they progress in their career.
