SO this one is actually really good. After sifting through the dross, finally we panned out gold. The humor is actually funny, not cringy, the MC is great, the art is great (the ladies are fiiine~~), and the plot is interesting enough so far.
There's a few points I'd like to emphasize. So the MC was the author of this, and he gets turned into the act 1 villain. He immediately stops that though, none of this 'horrible acting pretending I'm evil so I can follow the plot for some reason'. Where the story shines though, is all the characters. All of his disciples are hilarious, primarily the oldest one (she's a super Masochist, and devoted to him) and the youngest one, who was the formerly Male protagonist of his story. But we also get the absolute dumb-as-rocks disciple, and so on. They're lively enough.
So early on... like chapter 2? 3? He actually realizes the the world itself is buffing him. Like his cultivation is super easily increased, aka the Heavenly Daos like him or whatever. Now, this could've gone really bad, as an OP MC with the world literally supporting him would quickly turn lame, but it actually works well. Cultivation is NOT the main part of this, and nor does he need to go out and steal all the opportunites that he knows of with his secret knowledge as the author. Why? Because he's already OP. So you don't have lots of stupid contrivances and terrible side plots while he goes around location to location. He CAN do that if he wants - he does it a time or two to get stuff for his disciples, but it's actually really refreshing that he doesn't have to.
Like every returner story, when the MC has future knowledge, they're desperately going from location to location focused only on getting stronger with their cheat knowledge. And while that's not BAD per se, it can get old really quickly (especially with all the copy-paste stories we've seen in recent years). Well here, he's chill because he's already strong, and so that 'cheat knowledge' doesn't actually seem all that important. It also helps that we're not rushing a deadline like the world is about to end.
Basically, this is much more comedy with a focus on all the hot ladies around him with absolutely ridiculous personalities, rather than a desperate cultivation novel with a power hungry MC.
On that note though, the characters are great. They're also all in love with him, which is hilarious, both because he sometimes doesn't notice (because their characters are different than the settings HE WROTE THEM IN, so he's got a bit of a blindspot), but also because at times he recognizes that a villain trying to steal from the MC's harem is basically a guaranteed death flag. So he kinda pathologically stays away from anyone who he thought was originally in the protagonist's harem. Of course, the former protag is now a girl, and in HIS harem, adding to the hijinks.
TL;DR: A fun comedy story, with lots of hot female cultivators, and only a minor focus on cultivation itself. All in all, a very fun read.
