Both a sequel and a reboot of Azumi. The series ties into Oi! Ryouma, as Sakamoto Ryōma co-stars, and transplant the setting from the 17th to the 19th century.

I love u guys (specifically you Guren no heya kara) yall are the best
In regards to plot, this is both a reimagining and a sequel to the original azumi.
What makes this manga different is its more slice of life than being heavily action oriented. Not only that, but there are 2 main characters, Azumi, and her brother. The story switches between both their persepctives
I really liked this compared to the original, as Azumi is now apart of something that she always longed for, a family. Well not exactly, a part of it, but really close, she still leaves them to do her tasks but will always rerurn
I really love the characters, they have personality which really makes them resemble realistic people.
Overall this manga is definitly worth the read. I hope after this is translated, the translators would be able to translate Oi! Ryouma, as he is in this story and is quite the interesting character, i would love to learn more about him
