Description
After her house falls to ruin, Abigail Dilloa is relegated to serving an imprisoned princess for the rest of her life. Just as she finally comes to terms with her fate, assassins murder the sweet princess in cold blood. Was pretty good, some frustrating characters but I liked the plot. Unfortunately it ends rather suddenly and anticlimacticly.
A shitty ending...
My rating for this has been fluctuating like crazy cause I just can't tell if it really is good or I am just reading too much into it.
The premise has been done so many times but usually, with a Mary-Sue who has been reincarnated, send back in time or isekaid so having read the other versions this feels very slow on the plot progression part, since a lot more time has to be spent on showing the FL improving herself. That's not necessarily a bad thing though.
The most interesting twist so far seems to be that for once the FL and ML's relationship seems to be actually contract-based - they didn't just cringily fall in love at first sight. Because of this the focus shifts from romance to politics which -once again- isn't necessarily a bad thing.
I would def. recommend reading several chapters at once rather than leaving a month between every chapter because it is hard to remember the geography, family relations and political situations.
