What will the cruel fate of Michi and his friends be, living as they do in the debris left by the war?
Oneshot (Complete)

God knows. story is incomplete
Not a big loss though. I was dissapointed with this. I'm not very familiar with Suehiro Maruo's manga except for quite a lot of artwork and covers I've seen. They all exude some imperialism? fascism? (the ubiquitous imperialistic flag of japan doesn't help). they're also all amazingly drawn and composed exquisitely while exuding an amazing & mysterious atmosphere.
this is not the case here. stilted movements that make the characters seem wooden, crappily drawn expressions. not impressed with the artwork. to make matters worse, story was a big cliche. japan is displayed as a victim post-WWII.
It's a story about a bunch of orphans living a depressing life in the streets post-WWII. Everything displayed here have been retold before in better fashion in movies & manga. My suggestion is to avoid reading it.
Seems that this was a teaser for a longer story that never happened?
