First off, the art is alternately pleasant and intolerable.
First off, stuff like the Farquaad noble is really off-putting. Using a shallow clone of some tropey character from modern media is so jarring and completely ruins immersion. Instead of giving the reader a character and showing them they have qualities associated with some trope, this manga inserts a cartoon and it gets more tired the more we see it.
Still, there are some nice plot lines about desiring isolation from other people and dealing with the fear of uncertain situations. Even though some parts are pretty bad, so far it's not enough for me to drop the series.
