For a Manhua this is dam solid, the pacing is amazing. The author is very skilled at writing time skips so they feel fluent and smooth. Its very coherent with little to no plot holes so far. Plus a major thing is the chapter length and how well they do with making the chapters feel long. The shortest was 6 pages while averaging 10-14 pages with some longer but dam do they feel longer since the story really is engaging.
Yeah the troupes and cliches are a dime a dozen but they do a really good job on them. Plus theres been like super low face slapping compared to other Manhua's. Its still there like of course it is but its not a full dam chapter of just that.
Another thing I can say is the childhood friend is a dam breath of fresh air. There not a bitch, some heir of a secret family, evil or just used for plot convince. Yeah there still is the troupe that I didn't list and thats it but its good. Plus she's a real side character, not the fan service or fangirl shown once a blue moon to dick ride the MC but a genuine character.
The pacing is really good, the art is above average, the story so far follows the usual troupes but in a good way, characters aren't insufferable, no plot holes and over all I have to say one of the best Manhua's out there for how solid it is.
Yes its nothing ground breaking and the 10/10 does feel inflated but most people will rate Manhua's in the gutters just cause its a Manhua so I wanna give it a fighting chance, I'd give it a 8 or 9 depending how the story continues but defiantly up there with Necromancer, the Ultimate Scourge!, I Am the Fated Villain, My Wife Is From a Thousand Years Ago, Log into the Future and more. I'n my opinion I feel like its better since theres not all the glazing, courting death, face slapping, dick riding characters and annoying characters.
There will still be troupes and cliches and face slapping but so far no courting death, rich snobby villain or face slapping every dam minute and the MC is very chill. No over the top reactions, not a wuss nor cringy.
I recommend this not just to pass your time but to follow along and put it on your list of genuine reads. Give it a try, you won't regret it!
