This was so beautiful to read, their love was really touching and pure. The art is nice and clean, and even though the sex scenes aren't really erotic, they are very sweet.
There's no excessive drama (like love triangles, rape, stupid misunderstandings), but in my opinion that doesn't make it any less interesting. Having said that I don't see this as just another fluff piece either, it does have depth to it.
Also I love how the seasons play a big part in the plot, it's really unique. The characters are adorable too, I especially like Harutomo - such a cute seme ^__^
All in all this is a beautiful manga that leaves you with a nice warm feeling afterwards <3
What? This is slow-paced? I think the story is pretty quick to jump a year or two... But even so, it surprised me how bland and boring (not to mention overused) this plot is. Why is this even popular? Don't misunderstand me; I'm all for the slice of life genre, but this is not memorable, the characters are flat and stereotypical, the plot is unoriginal and the art is mediocre at best (and the smut was IMO boring too).
Not impressed. At. All.
Loved every minute of it, just wish there was more of these characters. This was the first book i have read by sensei and i'll be looking for more to read. The art is very expressive, almost without the need for too many words?
I love that the one guy is the more carefree, cute one (albeit, still taller and definitely not feminine), and that the other is the more serious one. It so worked for them!
The seasons were so pretty, and the whole thing had a relaxed, beautiful feeling to it.
Read this if you want something calming. It ends happy.
I also love that they were sorta-kinda-maybe talking about adopting a kid at the end there! I've never heard a same sex couple in a manga mention such a thing! Like, ever (which seems weird to me - sometimes people want kids). As if it's not an option (it might not be over there, idk).
Great story! The characters were wonderful, and the art was stunning!
First of all this is like the ultimate feel good manga xD beautiful art, adoreable characters and a lovely romantic story without any fettering from excess drama. Its a relaxing story taking seasons as its theme, which in turn gives it a gentle feeling. The characters and their relationship are touching, very light and very beautiful. I really really do love this story, it makes me feel relaxed.
honestly, these two... I hate them. they work just TOO hard! I wanted them to meet some hardships because of that attitiude of theirs, but in the end I was left high and dry. this manga is not bad, but ugh. I feel so annoyed after reading it; I wish I had never came across this title.
love it. "nothing happens" isn't actually true -- lots of things happen. it's just that those things don't happen with a lot of noise and outwardly expressed drama. somebody else might have injected visible angst into some of the episodes, like when kasushi knows he'll go to america, but he hasn't told harutomo yet. but just because the angst isn't splattered all over the surface doesn't mean it's not right there, in between the lines. this is a manga for people who can listen carefully, who don't think silence is boring, and who don't need relationships going up and down on a rollercoaster to recognise them as worthwhile and interesting.
it's fascinating how some mangaka can make me care about their characters right from the start, while others can write scene after dramatic scene and i just don't feel anything. i can't quite put my finger exactly on how that happens, but i think it's because some mangaka give me sufficient hooks so i can stipulate a rich inner life for a character even if that character doesn't say very much, and that character seems "real" to me then.
I really loved this manga, it described a pure simple love. I was glad there was no drama, and it really was a nice change from the usual. The fact that they love each other so much really showed throughout the manga.
Gives a very warm feeling, yes, but it was a bit dissatisfying because nothing really 'happens'. There are a bunch of sweet stories that chronicle the protagonists' relationship. But I think it doesn't mean much if there aren't any obstacles.
I don't really consider Kazushi moving to America while Harutomo stayed behind an 'obstacle' because it didn't really affect their relationship in any manner. I didn't even feel that they were so far apart. Maybe the managaka stressed more on seasons and food rather than an actual story for the characters.
A relaxing read if you're just looking for quiet mush, I guess.
I just finished reading this.
At first i didn't expect anything out of it. I just dl it coz i hav nth else to read.
But it turns out to be such a great story. The art is pretty
The story is rather a quiet one with no strong or drama scenes
But I still like it a lot. It made me feel warm-hearted!!! <3
This is sooooooo cute!
