but treated seriously to feed a decent story that contains explicit sex. i wouldn't say it's cutesy-sappy, but healing and/or finding a way past trauma through (taboo sexual) relationships is a story element. it's interesting to read something that doesn't present a taboo to satisfy fetish, but asks the reader to explore a dark corner of human nature.

Sweet but angsty plot porn, emphasis on plot. Relationships that contain explicit sex scenes, not sex vignettes that contain relationship elements.

The two stories focus on unusual student-teacher romances, each with one side quite disillusioned and the other deeply scarred, that seem to spell trouble, but instead resolve the lovers' issues. For the teachers, both haunted by the loss of an important person, they provide second chances to relive and "do over" the seminal events in their lives that crushed their spirits and set their ghosts to rest... also, ironically, it is through their sexual affairs with students that they reaffirm their values and achieve their goals as teachers (to inspire her students for one, to protect and save his pupils for the other).

Quite dark, but with happy endings and a cutesy-sappy 'love heals' meassage.

Both stories were nice and realistic, some scenes were very sweet, and some were nasty in a good way ^_~. Actually, because of the stories, manga doesn't feel like a pure hentai, but rather like an adult (or teenage ^^) manga with some hentai materials. Still funny how in common scenes art was mostly so-so, but hentai scenes were drawn very well *^^*.
