Entertaining gag manga that both embraces and deconstructs heros in fiction. Great cast, too, with one exception:

The female lead never gets character development. Literally every other character gets it except for her, but because she's so important to the manga it starts to drag after chapter 65 when a massive event happens.

And Braveman is... somewhat problematic. If he really just doesn't want to date her and never does, his behavior makes sense. If he's supposed to reciprocate her love at any point in the future, his worsening opinion of her and full rejection despite the events leading up through chapter 64 make no sense.

Still a solid read for a lot of fun and jokes. Not for kids, though.

No romantic twist here.

It's full of gags centered mainly around the mc(the crazy stalker pervert girl "general" ) and her perverted antics which results in everyone being creeped out by her. It was reasonably funny for a few chapters, but after that it wasn't that interesting anymore. Sadly, even the first few chapters weren't that good either, it often just feels stupid.

The best chapters in this manga is actually those where "braveman"(the hero) aren't there at all. The whole crazy stalker gag just gets old very fast, in the end I wasn't just not amused by it, I was also starting to get annoyed. Things like when the mc isn't meeting braveman(like the hero training institute mini-arc) or when the mc isn't there at all is ridiculously enough the best parts in this manga. The jokes are incredibly one-track and repetitive, it's pretty much the exact same thing again and again with very slight changes.

I don't think that this author is actually that bad at writing good jokes, I just think that he's relying too much on the same style of jokes all the time with no changes. He's not giving a proper effort to change things up and doesn't care about that it's extremely repetitive, because, after all, that's the easiest way to write in. Like the idea that when braveman and the mc meets up, it always HAS to go the same way. Some twists are sorely needed, sadly this manga is just average or slightly above average right now. It's amazing how it managed to receive such a high score, it's not worth that score at all.

Indeed, this is pretty much a remix of the author, jin's, Ii Orc no Hi, a story of a lewd elf and a straightman orc. However, with the addition of a strong cast, this series is really elevated. It is a delight to read chapter to chapter, bursting with fun, good gags, and surprisingly satisfying side romances. Thumbs up, it's super duper.

True to Jin's style in Ii orc no hi and Mishiro-san to Yamada-kun, this is a laugh-out-loud funny and benign ecchi gag story with memorable characters and even cute moments sprinkled in it (if you have a pure heart to find them). Immediate recommendation, I haven't laughed at anything as much as this in a while.
